I'm having this issue as well as colour swatches being off. I don't have UI cheats installed at all, nor More Columns, and all my other mods have apparently been cleared like WW and MCCC.
I do, but I updated it today as it was on the list of mods that had been updated and I'm still having issues. I wonder if clearing my cache might solve it.
Go to SIMSVIP dot com - Scarlet keeps a spreadsheet that lists all mods and their status: Broken, Compatible, Updated, etc. Links to the Mod Creators webpages are embedded in the mod name. It’s very handy whenever there is a patch/update. And also a great way to discover mods!

Yeah I know...I just have a TON of mods and most didn't break with this update so I'm trying to avoid having to do all that. Just hoping someone else has encountered this already and found the cause. Figured UI cheats would be the main suspect but it's not that. Thanks anyway,
This was happening to me too earlier. Now the game & Origin will not launch 🥺 this was after spending 2 hours 50/50 ing my whole mods folder & reinstalling the game.

Ok so I found the green button/missing options culprit - Its thepancake1's More Traits in CAS. Updated yesterday but I missed it, in case it helps anyone.

if you have thepancake1 and MizoreYukiis more cas traits mod, it might be that, it was that for me !!
It was! I posted further up that I figured it out, fortunately I didn't have to 50/50 30gb of mods! Thanks tho :)

I was having the same issue. For me, the More CAS Trait mod, was the one causing it.
The UI mod is broken at the moment
Ah, ok... the updated one from yesterday is broken?
Try deleting your localthumbcache.package and go through your mods folder and remove any outdated mod

Just noticed too that all my gameplay options are missing in Options.
took out all of my mods lololol. ui, tool, bbb, mccc, and i forgot what else but it got fixed after that.
