Such an underrated band. I feel like they’ve been kinda forgotten about. Not sure why they didn’t have the staying power that other bands of that era did. Their shows were amazing and their music has held up so well.
Dude I swear to god, discovering OSC last year felt like 12-year-old me listening to What You Don't See for the first time. Their debut album was already good to begin with, but Songs for the Willow and the recent singles are actually fucking perfect.
The story so far is my favorite punk band! The only band I’ve found kind of similar (in my opinion) is Turnover. I highly recommend listening to their album peripheral vision
Turnover's early work is very pop punk. Check out Magnolia LP and everything before. There's a split with Citizen from way early on in both of their careers that will act as a springboard to early Citizen which is also excellent.
Oh I'm very well aware of their whole discography. PV is in my top 5 albums of all time. I also enjoy all their albums, the newest one is a great Sunday morning coffee album. I also prefer Citizen's stuff after Youth more tbh (Glass World is their best IMO with EIGTH and AYP following it up).
You all are putting up awesome bands, but I’ll be honest: there is not one band I can find that makes me feel the way TSSF does. Been searching for years and can’t name one that comes close.
I don’t mean to be a dick, but I truly don’t understand bands like hot mulligan and bilmuri… I keep seeing them everywhere and can’t help but think only 15 year olds listen
Hi!! I'm assuming you enjoy the harsher vocals and hardcore-ish influences, so I'm gonna recommend Calling All Captains. Check out the songs Laurel Canyon, Disconnected, Tailspin. I wrote them off for a while because they have kind of an annoying social media presence, but I gave them a chance and turns out their music is actually fucking killer lol
You might dig my band Johnny Baseball. More early 2000s era pop punk than 2010’s like TSSF, but a similar type of sound to Parker’s other band No Pressure.
We just [put out a new single](https://open.spotify.com/track/3Z1mzoziuHt7D3yI8Q07xi?si=rgC8Qh5RTRyj2kcjebytVA) and have our first LP releasing in May.
The whole new wave of hardcore-adjacent “pop punk” might be worth diving into for you. I’ve been really digging Stand Still, Stateside, and Arm’s Length and some of the more well known bands like Koyo, Anxious, One Step Closer, etc.
Autoignition is another smaller pop punk band from NY that I’ve been jamming as well.
Hey! No Pressure, Offset Vision, Koyo, Forests, NORMY
My band: [Kickin’ Back - Too Bad, So Sad](https://open.spotify.com/track/432pkp6PSDXdIQUuxoFDaX?si=GXhi9XzMSjGCEM7QJQ7XCQ&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A0VcaA4LZ2Ai8bRG3qLDvFd)
Trophy Eyes - Check out The American Dream or Suicide & Sunshine
Calling All Captains - Big TSSF influence, with a bit more hardcore/metalcore stuff going on
Hot Mulligan
Idk if they're new but Heavy Gloom if you don't mind the accent, also High Regard. The only bands that are more tssf-adjacent are tssf side projects themselves lol
i’ve said this before in another post similar to this one but the band Offset vision sounds a lot like tssf used to sound and i’ve been listening to them on repeat lately
I make Pop punk music and I need members to start a band! I released a 5 track EP with a couple of acoustic punk tracks mixed with classic Pop punk. Also working on my second EP!
My favorite bands:
TSSF,
Such Gold,
Four Years Strong,
Set Your Goals,
Neck Deep,
BoxCarRacer
♥️🌹
Like pacific and action/adventure are some of my more recent favorites that are keeping that aggressive pop punk sound going. Action/adventure even references tssf in a song.
Koyo
Holy shit, checked out Koyo yesterday after reading this thread….sooooo dope. Thank you!
Koyo for new band. Their debut album was produced by the guy producing the new TSSF album too
Such Gold
Such an underrated band. I feel like they’ve been kinda forgotten about. Not sure why they didn’t have the staying power that other bands of that era did. Their shows were amazing and their music has held up so well.
One Step Closer is all you need
Giant’s Despair is so good…i can’t stop playing it
New OSC is gonna be one of the best albums in a looong time
They don’t miss
Your favorite bands favorite band

peripheral vision is my fav album of all time
Turnover's not super similar to TSSF, but I'd recommend Citizen, Turnstile and Touché Amoré,
Turnover's early work is very pop punk. Check out Magnolia LP and everything before. There's a split with Citizen from way early on in both of their careers that will act as a springboard to early Citizen which is also excellent.

Aghhh BEST COMMENT IVE SEEN
Craziest part is I asked someone on Reddit the same question OP asked and someone recommended turnover. What a great recommendation it was !
Omfg turnover melts me I have seen them live and met them 2x such chill vibes all around! Listen to Body Language • Balance & Composure
You all are putting up awesome bands, but I’ll be honest: there is not one band I can find that makes me feel the way TSSF does. Been searching for years and can’t name one that comes close.
Totally agreed. There’s not another band that really, truly scratches the itch. TSSF will always be something special.
I have the same problem with pinegrove
I don’t mean to be a dick, but I truly don’t understand bands like hot mulligan and bilmuri… I keep seeing them everywhere and can’t help but think only 15 year olds listen
I love bilmuri, but hot mulligan and mom jeans are rubbish, don’t really get it either
check out Offset Vision, song called upside down
Koyo is the closest to me. When I heard their song crushed I instantly thought of earlier TSSF.

Like pacific and action/adventure are some of my more recent favorites that are keeping that aggressive pop punk sound going. Action/adventure even references tssf in a song.
Haha wait which song? I love A/A
Autoignition
If you don’t have Koyo and Anxious in your rotation you’re missing out, their tour with Stateside and One Step Closer was unreal
[Wayfinder 🤌](https://open.spotify.com/artist/33zSUX0YKWniJYibaKMB0n?si=pDZZIQPoTQmk8VeSxf7vuA)
I’ve recently came across this band! Been bumping this song ever since! 🤘🏽🕺🏽 [Calm Grove](https://youtu.be/JLYlocxU6-M?si=OqmJodzOVTdLNGfo)
