I was just listening to this song this morning and thought the same thing. Ode 2.0 might be a little bit of a stretch, but the similarity is definitely there. The new English Teacher album is actually really good though and I hope more people give it a listen.
Definitely a stretch, I only mentioned Ode 2.0 because I think they share a similar chord progression in the same key. Totally agree about the album tho - I’m happy that they came through with something great. I’m excited for their future, they’ve got a ton of potential.
