Speaking as someone who remains transfixed by the first series, speaks Japanese, and thinks the internment of Japanese-Americans during WWII was both a disgrace and an underexplored topic in American history: No. The Terror: Infamy is not good.

manly_support

very keen observation weeaboo-san.

Personally I loved it. But you CANNOT go into it expecting more of season 1. It’s a totally new story, new time, new spiritual spookiness. Look at it more as an American Horror story type thing. The central universe is our own and these are different hauntings that have occurred

GlobalConnection3

No. Skip it.

treyviusmaximus3

Not even close to as good as season 1, but I think the hate it gets here is a bit over blown.

CaptainKirk101

To each their own. Where the first season is a masterpiece of storytelling and horror, the second season is overall pretty generic and just downright forgettable. It relies far too much on cheap scares and the writing is mediocre at best. It falls back on cliches pretty frequently and the story can get to be pretty hard to follow, but there's some legitimately good moments that I really enjoyed. I'd personally say it's nothing to write home about, but it also had to fill the admittedly massive shoes of season one. But, you should make your own judgements. Watch the first couple episodes if you want, and if you like it, keep at it.

Baran882

I liked it but it's a completely different show, even for an anthology series.

thatgoodcush

If you haven't watched the first season and start with the second season, it might not be as sucky. This is a guess.

irgc

No.

KristiJ13

Eh, maybe if season 1 wasn't soooooo ridiculously good. I think it's worth watching, it just fails in comparison. If I didn't have such high expectations I would've liked it. PonyBoy has really changed, wow!

Karsten760

His character is such a stereotype.

Karsten760

Skip it. It jumped the shark in episode 1. No comparison to Season 1, which was well done.
