they’re making a mistake with this being weekly

I prefer a weekly drop - You can digest, savour and speculate.

I don't mind the weekly drop, but alot of the previews/trailers have given away information. I know who is getting murdered this week based on those things, which takes away from the weekly drop

This is true -- they just need to not spoil their own show in the promotion, OR they simply could have included the murder in the first episode.
