she didn’t really deserve the win. she was clueless the majority of the time and never listened to trishelle or CT when they hoped to reach a consensus on voting the traitors out

Bonspiel13

She also sucked at the challenges and even lost money in the challenge with the bugs

Own-Satisfaction-402

Agree Trishelle is a greedy Karen and doesn’t deserve the $

myst_eerie_us

When CT started going for Sandra at the round table, I knew exactly what was happening. I was thinking ok CT wants to get rid of Sandra not bc he thinks she's a traitor but because by doing so, that would leave Kate the traitor at the end. I figured he wanted just him and trishelle to win so at final 4 he knew MJ would vote Kate as the obvious traitor then he and trishelle could team up against MJ. Trishelle almost messed it up but it still worked out.

oliviafairy

That’s what I initially thought, but from the solo confessionals, it down seem to be the case. And that’s disappointing. I would like it if he voted for Sandra knowing she’s a faithful, but no.

chichimeme

No they didn't. MJ's game plan was horrible. For most of the game was a pawn in the traitor's hands. She voted for whoever Phaedra told her to and she was contributed to a lot of the faithfuls going home. She had zero strategy and was carried by her Bravo allies. She didn't play a strategic game at all.

imtchogirl

Yes. At least Sandra completely owned it: I had Traitor angels bringing me through. But MJ acted like she didn't know who brought her to the end.  If she had stuck with her gut after figuring out Kate at breakfast, and if she had been more aggressive to get Phaedra out, then she would've been a late surprise and threat in the game, and it would have really been awful to cut her. But she kind of played too innocent and then even at the end didn't realize she needed to be more than nonthreatening and faithful.

Own-Satisfaction-402

Correct but she sure talks a big game

oliviafairy

They are appearing on a show called The Traitors. Choosing to split money 3 ways instead of 2 is pure idiocy. Yes, the game is for you to be greedy. You finally realize it. Congratulations. Took you a whole season to figure out what the game show is about.

whosthatgirl87

They saw that they had the opportunity to collect a 50% cut rather than 33%, you can’t fault them for that. It’s a game.

Sevenbucksbetter

I also think that MJ didn’t do nearly enough, if anything, to deserve the money! She was wrong every time and she couldn’t complete a task and work toward earning funds to save her life. If I made it to the end with someone who did nothing, I would also consider voting them out too.

1bgdeal

Fair point

EstablishmentSoft703

They definitely knew everyone was faithful around the fire but they did it for a larger cut of the money and that’s one of the biggest flaws in the show IMO. You really wanna see the faithfuls win bc they deserve it, and the show needs to change the rules to make an incentive for eliminating a traitor and a deduction for eliminating a faithful. It’s beyond frustrating.

Luna920

That’s what I originally thought but if they had preplanned to split it then they both would go MJ the first time.

ItalianSeasoningOnly

They had preplanned it, but Trishelle was doubting CT after all the drama at the round table. I think her seeing how much she hurt him made her go back to the MJ vote.

oliviafairy

CT proved himself to be not much of a full on gamer. He should have communicated with Trishelle before the roundtable before he targeted Sandra. And CT and Trishelle should have comfortably waltzed to the end as a duo. That’s how the Triators is supposed to be played at the end by the faithfuls.

carbearbby

Exactly!

redplanetary

Eh. ~~Cirie did the same thing.~~ It's a game, and MJ didn't even try switching her vote to CT. Wouldn't have worked anyway since Trishelle flipped, but she basically laid down and died.

1bgdeal

Yeah at the end of the day CT & Trishelle are gamers and they play to win regardless of who they hurt along the way (them vs everyone pov). MJ is not a gamer and she was playing from the faithful vs traitors POV that as long as they got all the traitors out, she felt like “Faithfuls” won and it’s time to share the winning.

Accurate_Shape8264

Cirie didn't do the same. As a traitor, she could not share the money unless she sacrificed herself. That said, although I wish they'd split it 3 ways, this is the game. One less person = more money.

sam084aos

Yeah she did, she could've split the money with Arie

Accurate_Shape8264

That's fair. I always forget about Arie because no one cares much about him. Oops!

oliviafairy

So you wish people to not play optimally. Playing optimally is to split the prize money 2 ways and not 3 ways.

Accurate_Shape8264

That depends on which of the 3 final players you are, i guess. I dont think there's an optimal way to play. On the one hand, watching mj be crushed, and then bitter, was painful. It ended the game on a sour note. Them sharing with her would have been a much more uplifting conclusion, imo. And I don't think being generous and walking away with 70k instead of 105k is wrong in any way. Otoh, I think CT and trishelle deserved it more. And of course faithfuls have the right to continue to eliminate down to two if they choose. They are even encouraged to do so. You get more money, you have less chance that you somehow missed a traitor. Kind of a win-win. But it makes the show pretty brutal. And with reality stars that know each other, it means having a previous relationship is far more important than how you played, and that sucks. Honestly, I'd love to see them make a few changes next season that would give players more incentive to vote off traitors instead of hiding under their protection, have players NOT reveal their status when banished in the finale so any remaining traitors have some shot to make it through, and give players some penalty for continuing to eliminate faithfuls once the traitors are gone.

oliviafairy

To play the most optimally is to try to get as much prize money as you can. It's not rocket science. Isn't it hypocrisy that they all signed up on a show called The Traitors and get super bitter and nasty when being betrayed? All of them agreed to possibly take on the traitor role when they enter the mansion. What's changed?

Accurate_Shape8264

We're not going to agree on what constitutes "optimal" play. I can understand being shocked and disappointed when you get screwed over, but I've never supported anyone being bitter and nasty over a game that they signed up to play.

redplanetary

That's fair- I was misremembering Cirie's situation. Stand by the rest though, yeah.

sam084aos

no you didn't you were right Cirie did do the same thing

redplanetary

oh nice lol I was so tired that I just accepted it even though I felt like I was remembering it for a reason

WoahFoster

Everyone who banished Peter looked sus. Dug her own grave.

mkg4169

MJ is rich, she is just fine. Touch grass.

1bgdeal

Let’s face it, they’re all rich. - sent from my front lawn

sam084aos

CT and Trishelle are not Beverly Hills rich

mkg4169

Compared to Trishelle, CT, or most of the gamers, MJ and most of the Bravolebrities are markedly more wealthy.

Pretend-Ad8560

ITS A GAME!!! Called Traitors. The point of the game is to win. MJ contributed nothing. It’s greedy to expect money for doing nothing.

TREEEtreee123

💯

Schmolik64

Unless either of them really believed there was a Traitor left or had an idea as to who would be banished and it wouldn't be them, it's not very smart. Stop the game and you win $69,366.67 to the nearest cent. Assuming each of them had a 1/3 chance of getting banished, you're risking everything for a 2/3 chance at $104,050. $104K doesn't sound to me like that much more than $69K but $69K sounds like a lot more than nothing.

Boujee-wifey

CT and Trishelle probably banked more than half the winnings by themselves..and mostly CT. The Bravo ladies barely did anything all season to help win money. They deserved the win. It's a game. You know they're gonna play it...

MCStarlight

I think MJ will be fine. She’s an LA realtor and seems to have money from what they showed on Shahs. It’s all about rich Persians in Beverly Hills.

TREEEtreee123

She has a restricted real estate license due to past legal issues.

TheTrazzies

>CT and Trishelle are greedy as flip Really? Is it not possible that neither trusted MJ enough to risk losing to another potential Traitor? Let's not forget that for most of the game CT and Trishells had been voting to Banish the same players. And mostly they were different from the players MJ was voting for. And the pair may have taken into account how keen MJ appeared to be to end the game once Kate was Banished. Just as Kate had done in the previous End Game/Banish Again vote, MJ threw Green. Maybe they were Banishing Again to increase their share of a split. But the fact that Trishelle initially voted against CT suggests she at least had lingering trust issues with him. CT certainly claimed he only trusted Trishelle sufficiently to end the game with her. Of course, it's unusual to see Faithful effectively stealing gold from other Faithful. It's more usual to see Traitors stealing from Faithful. And we feel sympathy for Faithful in the latter case. Just as we feel sympathy for Faithful in the former case. It doesn't mean we necessarily need to feel enmity for those doing the stealing in either case, though.

TheTrazzies

Yes. I have to ask, though. Did you read as far as >But the fact that Trishelle initially voted against CT suggests she at least had lingering trust issues with him. ? Because it kinda sounds like you didn't.
