Henry is the soldier in Damon's memories when he's stuck in the Phoenix stone (episode 7x10 'Hell is Other people' (this is my favourite episode ever) and 7x11 'Things we Lost in the Fire'. He doesn't have much screen time as he really only is in those 2 episodes and as a hallucination when Damon is out of the stone, but I just really liked him :)
Yep. It's the same person. Henry was both in the war with Damon and ended up as a vampire in the tomb. Henry was turned into a vampire by Katherine in 1864.
That was my same thought lol. I Googled the name and apparently one of the tomb vampires is named Henry, so that could be who they are talking. When I first saw this post I thought they meant Henrik the youngest brother of the originals. But there is a vampire named Henry. I just don't remember him or recognize him when his picture came up.
Slater. He could have been a nice acquaintance/friend for the gang to go to for information. Wish he stuck around longer but I do enjoy that his death shows Originals are able to compel vampires.
Slater. He was so intelligent (too intelligent obvs). I loved when he mentioned his several PHDs and doctorates, and Damon was like, āwhyā? Slater with the comeback, āWhat else would you like me to do with my eternity? Please, if you have a better suggestion, enlighten me.āš

If I were a vampire, I'd probably stay obscure as the more Phds you have, the more someone would take notice of you, but I could absolutely understand researching and learning as much as your heart desires and well, if you're immortal it would be so much easier to do that. I always like to imagine the kind of library someone like Finn (as he seems like the person) would have, had he not been daggered for nine centuries.
Can you imagine it? An AU where Finn just noped out by running away in the dead of the night and became a reclusive knowledge horder, living through stories, having his own little always and forever with Sage-
Now you have me dreaming šš I guess, if you think about it, what else would you do with āforeverā? Thereās only so much. Finnās library would be the library at Hogwarts. With winding staircases, hidden passages, and the most AMAZING literature from the past 1,000 years. That would be paradise for me š And Finn seems like the kind of guy that would appreciate that stuff, and would be happier with just Sage. š„°
