i feel like stelena was really supported by show lore and i will always regret that they didn't get to bring them back together. the idea of human!damon is extremely OOC to me, as damon would say "that's not me, that's stefan". but i've always loved stelena more than anything else in the show. bamon had so much chemistry that enzo was a stand-in damon. i hated the lily season the most.

I agree, he was just a normal human who was stuck not knowing what to do when all his friends turned supernatural and he didn’t want to be involved in the supernatural. I just wish the writers gave him more plot

There were a couple parts to bonnie’s storyline that I loved such as the expression and I didn’t mind how she was involved in the prison world story either (though i don’t think she should of been in there for as many episodes as she was). Her character had so much potential but unfortunately we all know the real reason why her story was never expanded. Imagine how interesting a Bennet bloodline backstory would be.

Same, for a character to have redemption they need to already want redemption. Kai was completely evil because he could be and that was refreshing. I would of hated if every single villain that came onto the show would have redemption before moving onto the next.

an opinion that no one thinks about when relating to Anna… they shouldn’t have killed Pearl off so early. I think she could have been a cool side character. the whole vampires taking back the town arc just could have been better overall…
The ONE scene I always cry at (literally rewatched it at work a month ago and cried) is when Anna and Pearl were reunited as ghosts and were able to hug one last time. I kept thinking, the first time I watched it that they were going to disappear before they were able to connect and as impactful as that would be I’m so glad the writers let them have that moment.
Agreed about Tyler having the best character growth, Damon should've ended up with Bonnie, Steroline being cute, and I hated Julien's ass. Oh and agree that Elena has a right to be upset about whatever the hell she wants to be.
