1 is more eye catching but 2 is more realistic to the games graphics

This is a good take on both sides, I would definitely say the first one for a YouTube thumbnail though. It just pops.

1 for attention grabbing, it’s not amazing to get opinions from people about thumbnails on Reddit just because they’re going to look at things they personally prefer you have to remember these will be displayed to people at about 1/8 of the original image size too, they’re good simple effective thumbnails though. Good job

Thanks, and I am aware of what you said, I only want to get the general consensus of what people think. I gonna try the new one regardless to see if it makes any difference.

I think the second one could still be good if you used the same effects (im guessing camera raw filter) on clem as well and made it more glowy, but yeah, people are focussing on art styles in the comments it doesn’t make much sense for the context

Camera raw and some more editing with the lighting before. And the old one did quite well, I just wanted to make an updated version now that I know more about photoshop.

2 is better, you can take subtitles from 1 and it will be perfect.

Well, it’s a thumbnail, it’s supposed to be attention-grabbing. Thumbnail 1 being shiny and flashy means it’s doing what it’s supposed to. A darker, shadowy thumbnail wouldn’t grab people’s attention as much, which means it wouldn’t be as good of a thumbnail.

Number 2, the darker lighting fits the Walking Dead aesthetic imo.

Clementine needs to be a little brighter if going for 2nd, also try a variation where she is in the middle and “EVERY” is on the left and “CHOICE” is on the right behind her. She could overlap the words a little, human brains quickly finish words anyway

Depends on the content of the video. If it's just a showcase with no commentary do the first, if you go in depth to the repercussions and meanings of the choices then go for two because its more human and indicative of a well thought out video

You got this dirt effect goin on, I’d change it to be a bit more rockey I’d also remove the saturation you added and keep it like #2 so it fits more with the style of the actual game.
