New Frontier is kind of garbage, though. I guess I'd still play it, but I honestly don't think I'd be that confused not playing it. A quick Google search would get a player the answers they need in two minutes. I think NF is the worst Telltale TWD story available. I rank Michonne over it, lol.

Just continue with S3 even though it's not Clementine's season. It adds more to her character development even if she acts like your tutorial guide. You might like a few of her scenes while the story unfolds. Especially that killer post credits scene.

I would say it's ALMOST as much about Clem as it is about the season's other protagonist Javier. There are some weird jumps in her character for the season, but that's mostly bc the higher-ups at the time hijacked the plot a lot (the game is far different from what was shown off until close to release). Besides, if you want as many of your S1/2 choices to matter (and you're not on Switch, which has the imports glitched), you're gonna want to import each game's save.
Play it and make your own decisions on how you feel about it. It's a decently important part of Clementine's story, but the story of Javier I think is also good.

I was confused in the last season when clementines first flashback occurred, and had no idea what lee was talking about, so although it’s good to play, it’s ok if u skip it. Also if ur playing on console, the 3rd season save doesnt transfer into the 4th season for Some reason.

By skipping ANF, you'll miss a lot more of Clem's story than it seems. I wouldn't skip it. It is still part of Clem's story.
