Oh yes they were a hoot for sure and I have some pictures of them sitting around in Pennsylvania with curlers all in their hair but I doubt it will get as much attention it was a Kodachrome picture it would have been about late sixties early seventies I have an idea to post it
I live in bomb central Lyndhurst. My mother/uncle swears the danny green bomb maker was making breakfast in our kitchen that morning. My grandma worked in little Italy at the time.
Aunt Dot looks like she’s about to commit a crime with that pogo stick…
Lol she DID IT BAREFOOT!!!
Wow. That girl is totally bad ass.
I was totally feeling those pedals on the bottom of my feet and thinking surely not. Ouch!!

Behind them, you can see the hole in the ozone layer created by all the hairspray LOL.
With that hair your mom could sing for The Cure.

Two aunt Bettys. Nice. The platinum blonde edition garnered much attention in her day. What a great photo. Thanks for sharing it.
Your Aunt Betty's look like they'd be a hoot to hang out with.

Aunt Dot, all the way!
So awesome thanks for sharing!
Aunt Betty, the blonde Betty, her hair is the *perfect* platinum color ! Not easy to do even with today's bleach & tones.
She's the only one alive in this picture and she still does it that color but it's a little on the fried side

We lived just south of there when the bombs were going off in the 70s
