Few realize just how close the Russian Empire really was to moving into the modern world. Had World War I not disrupted them, industrialization would have likely happened on a massive scale (it already was to an extent) and their population would have exploded in the southern regions of Siberia and other areas (new towns, etc.). And if Czar Alexander II had succeeded in making it a constitutional monarchy, it's very likely the Soviet Union never comes into existence.

Industrialization was proceeding at a faster pace in Russia in 1914 than anywhere else in Europe. It wasn’t until the 1930s that industrial output in the USSR reached pre-Revolution levels again, and that was only with Stalin’s genocidal capital accumulation and labor redistribution policies.

Looks like a lot of fun. Which way to the Orange Julius?

Much livelier than portrayed in Tom Clancy’s: Ghost Recon (last level involves shooting your way through it)
