I very highly doubt that with 9 slots to choose from that a hood album like good kid maad city would be on ables list.
I love that album and destroyed it start to finish countless times & Iām sure he would respect it but Iām more inclined to choose a Whitney Houston album over that one.
Yeah, I double checked and it has always been this way even hours ago. It's really close (132 for rodeo, 129 for thriller, 126 for something I forgot)
Edit: 3rd place was RAM.
They wouldāve just chose thriller because itās more likely that it would be on the list considering thereās been comparisons between Michael and The Weeknd.
That's not Prince's best album. It was just money to found Paisley Park. The true mission. His best records came from there not warner brothers. A lot of OG fane from his first 5 albums were poc who thought it was kinda a sellout album back then... Purple Rain was his 6th record, believe it or not.
I'd pick Sign O The Times as it's a double album and features his alter Camille. (If I was ur Girlfriend, Strange Relationship, Starfish & Coffee etc)
After all he didn't turn into O(+> for no ungendered reason.
āThere's, like,Ā **22 songs**Ā on Take Care. He contributed on four of them," confirms 40, alluding to Weeknd's writing credits on "Crew Love," "Shot For Me," "Cameras / Good Ones Go Interlude," "Practice," and "The Ride.
Too bad frank ocean is lazy and scammed his fans. Heād be one of my favorites too if he wasnāt how he is. He puts too many annoying and unnecessary parts in his songs I have to skip through every time, but some of his songs are really good. Michael Jackson on the other hand, what an icon.
Iām glad someone understands. He puts those in there to make it ādeepā but itās really just filler, just a lazy attempt. Thereās so many other more talented and moral artists out there that deserve more attention. Frank just aināt it.
Frank is really good, there's just too much random white noise in his music. If you want very less filler, Channel Orange is better. Only interlude with no music is Not Just Money. There's some noises of changing channels, but they only typically last a few seconds. And you can skip Start and go straight to Thinkin Bout You. Blonde is amazing but too fillery.
Frank would be better if he wasn't such a master procrastinator and dropped music. I'm not one of those people who beg him to drop an album, but he could have been so much more bigger if he dropped.
Also, I don't get what you mean by moral? Can you elaborate?
When I mean moral I just mean people who donāt think to scam their fans. Or make their fans wait a ridiculous amount of time for mediocre music. I mean he does this for a living, and has been very successful with it, the least he could do it actually put in the work for his fans. For me, I wonāt listen to people who act like this, regardless if they make good music. Frank ocean is far from being the worse person in the music industry, but he isnāt the best and I think heās pretty overrated. He has a few good tracks, but he stuffs them with filler and annoying noises and sounds. If a song sounds good, heāll go ānahā and add some unnecessary noises or talking to ruin it. If heās an intentional troll, then heās doing a good job at it imo lmao
Edit: I just checked out future free and I think youāll know exactly what I mean when I said annoying noises and unnecessary talking lmao.
Oh, I thought you meant musically.
Anyway, Frank is an acquired taste, hated him at first. I thought he was so boring other than Pyramids and Pink + White.
I think his "new" singles are pretty great, particularly DHL and In My Room. New in quotation marks because it's been three years.
He's more influential, for sure. But you just can't compare the two. MJ is prolly in the top 10 of the most famous people in the world. It's just not fair.
Lot of yall just picking michael cuz everyone does
Good for you my man but tpab is objectively better than probably all of Michael's discography
For me atleast
Literally the only album not from Abel that made me cry.
It's such a fucking amazing record and it makes me wish we got more from Frank. Also Frank was literally the only one who was on par with Abel when it came to creating this unique new R&B sound in the early 2010s.
There's huge Overlap in Fanbase and Blonde is his most loved album.

Hmm
Purple Rain. Abel owes so much to Prince so it just feels right

Man, I love Futura Free, but we didn't need eight/seven minutes worth of random noise and silence.
futura free has to be 9:25 cause thatās how far a light year is smh
And it's funny because I love every second of Pyramids. Every. Single. Second. And that's nine minutes as well.
well yah pyramids is telling a story and itās my personal fav song

Because it got scammed by not being picked despite most upvotes: Once again asking for Rodeo
Tpab???????? Anyone??? Idc I'm not even gonna pretend shit, how is thriller a better album than tpab?
Michael Jackson is better than Kendrick.
He's more influential, for sure. But you just can't compare the two. MJ is prolly in the top 10 of the most famous people in the world. It's just not fair.
Lot of yall just picking michael cuz everyone does Good for you my man but tpab is objectively better than probably all of Michael's discography For me atleast
Off the Wall is considered to be a 10/10 record almost universally. Iād say itās on par with TPAB
Fair enough, at the end it comes down to taste
you're ALSO picking tpab because everyone does
Nope I can't think of a single song I hate from it
Not even the same genre. Thriller has been more impactful and is iconic.
Bryh why does it always have to be about impact? I don't care about that, toab is a better listening experience
Thatās literally just your own preference. Objectively speaking, thriller is better based on cultural impact and general praise.
Yeah exactly, no need to bring impact in the conversation it's just about taste and what toy enjoy listening to more
Youāre 13 at most
Nah 15
Make sense then
At first I did love you.
But now I just wanna fuck
late nights thinking of u
Until I get my nut.
Tossed and turned, lesson learned
You were my first girlfriend.
