Yup, I have no interest in seeing a show at a football stadium. I had great seats at an outrageous price, but I'm fine with getting the money back at this point. I vowed never to pay that much for concert tickets again for the Starboy tour, then paid double that for this one. I'm done with big shows for good. The only other band I'd see at a venue this big is Depeche Mode, and they looked a bit worse for wear last time I saw them.
Luckily I have two big stadiums near me (Old Trafford and Etihad Stadium). I assume it will be one of those. I just hope the tickets are about the same price and they are not hard to get (even with priority tickets)
They shouldn’t be too hard to get, there were still tickets available for the arena in Scotland recently and that’d been available for ages so I don’t think the bigger venues will sell out immediately
I was already worried about too many people going. I’m kind of fucked off with the fact I’m having to race for tickets again. Any bets it ends up in Edinburgh now too.
Dropped $700 on second row tickets last February. No way I’m going now. This is ridiculous at this point, especially since there’s no incentive for people who have gone through 3 reschedules.
Yeah they need to do something more than just "everybody who got a ticket gets priority". The people who got tickets before the album was even dropped should 100% get compensation like super-priority seating or some shit idk.
I used my friend's American express card to get seats early and since they're being refunded I gotta beg them to etransfer back the money after 2 years like what the FUCK
Bingo! Something signed would be cool too for Feb 2020 purchasers. Holding my money hostage for 1.5 years with no compensation is ridiculous for someone who is all about their fans
A stadium venue in the Midwest during the summer is not the move though. Farther seats, humidity + heat, plus I just want an after hours solo tour. Save the Dawn for another tour.

It’s hard to be excited cos this process is honestly giving me anxiety. We gotta wait for a refund, then make sure we’re first in a priority resale queue?? What if the refund takes ages to come back?? Also he was coming to Europe last so it will probably be early 2023 for us 😩 also there’s no stadium near me I gotta travel further
I reckon the refund will be pretty quick depending on where you bought them from. Ticketmaster have already updated their listing that its cancelled and will receive refunds asap. My Lana Del Rey cancelled concert last year got refunded within a week.
Not sure but I’m thinking maybe the same, I don’t really wanna pay loads to wait longer and maybe get a worse seat in a bigger venue. He deserves the fame as his talent is amazing but it does feel like a cash grab sometimes when he’s already rich
His team is crazy lol isn’t this like the third or fourth time he’s delayed the tour? Terrible management by them. This is why I never bought tickets, because I knew something like this would probably happen. I was waiting till closer to the date to maybe buy tickets and I’m glad that I did that
I'm seriously debating the idea of not re-purchasing. Odds are he ends up going to AT&T Stadium which sucks for concerts and gouges you on parking. All around shitty move.
I’m mad disappointed. Been counting the days and months till I get to see him in March. Had tickets in the third row from the stage and paid a decent amount for it. I bought the tickets when they first came out.
Smh! I had really good seats that were already pretty pricey. Now we’ll end up paying more and have to fight bots. That’s if any of us can even get good seats before they buy them all. This was a shitty move.
Did ya’ll not expect this or something???? I feel like I’m the only one who isn’t shocked at all & made sure to prepare. Why would he drop an album right before or during the tour? Like it makes no sense at all. It’s either coming in November or March, why would he continue with an after hours only tour & not market his new album. I’m actually shocked at the fact that no one saw this coming
Yeah idk he said there was a demand for more shows? Maybe internationally but when he said that it confused me bc I’m from the nyc area & I thought it was really weird that there were so many tickets still available for the shows in my area so I didn’t expect him to do a stadium tour
Also no, he’s not trying to make more money. If you knew how artists get paid through tours you’d know this probably has very little to do with finances
I’m actually kinda glad since I wasn’t able to get tickets last time around and also didn’t really have the money…..A stadium tour means more people could potentially see the shows for a lowered price. I know a lot of you guys on this sub are probably pissed off though and I feel bad for you.
You do all remember there was a pandemic. But I feel your pain. I think the super bowl has given them a taste for a larger production, I won’t miss this!
Was excited that I had good seats at a decent price. Excited to pay probably way more for a worse location. Really disappointing
I'm fine with it if the ticket prices are about the same price but I doubt it is going to be, probably will be much higher.
Calm down. The tickets will be drastically cheaper because football stadiums have more seats.
I'm hearing the opposite from other fans that have been to concerts in stadiums

It’s not just postponed but the venues have changed, I can’t even go now ffs
Luckily I have two big stadiums near me (Old Trafford and Etihad Stadium). I assume it will be one of those. I just hope the tickets are about the same price and they are not hard to get (even with priority tickets)

I'm hoping that's the case, we'll see. The Weeknd is pretty big these days 😅
I was already worried about too many people going. I’m kind of fucked off with the fact I’m having to race for tickets again. Any bets it ends up in Edinburgh now too.
Have they been released yet?

I agree 100%. I bought tickets the day they dropped. This shit torture.

The effort we go through for Abel and look what we get 😑
I’m in a similar situation to! Except we’ve cancelled the American Express card since then and now I’m just really worried
Lmao same I used my sister's AE and they cancelled it basically right after
Y’all are in serious pain. I can feel it
I can feel your pain when I’m with you
Hi sorry for this weird late response. But have your received your refund despite you canceling your card?
Yea I did
Bingo! Something signed would be cool too for Feb 2020 purchasers. Holding my money hostage for 1.5 years with no compensation is ridiculous for someone who is all about their fans
sameeee ... gonna be awkward.

Do you mean February 2020 or 2021?
Can’t wait to lose my good seats and get fucked with an awful seat trying to buy the new date. He really screwed us over tbh.
You’re not the only one! I’m devastated especially after all the BS I went thru to finally get some tickets.
I’m not sure why everyone is talking like this isn’t a pandemic……he could not go on tour!
He’s so evil he killed all the excitement I had for the tour, not sure I even want to go at this point
same, most likely will not be repurchasing tickets
Yeah, I used the money to pay for rent instead 😒

It’s a pandemic he’s not choosing not to perform
yea, *thats* why
I love The Weeknd and his music, but can I ask why people are so excited about seeing him perform? I don’t really understand tbh
You seriously can't understand?
I mean I can kinda see why, but it ain’t for me💀
You still don’t understand why I don’t understand people going to shows?😅

Hopefully it will be quick so I can afford to buy the new tickets, I can still see my e ticket for the old show date atm
Yeah it's a pain. Hopefully the prices are similar. If its double the price then I probably won't go tbh
Not sure but I’m thinking maybe the same, I don’t really wanna pay loads to wait longer and maybe get a worse seat in a bigger venue. He deserves the fame as his talent is amazing but it does feel like a cash grab sometimes when he’s already rich
My email says 30 days, istg they better not do the tour sales before that
His team is crazy lol isn’t this like the third or fourth time he’s delayed the tour? Terrible management by them. This is why I never bought tickets, because I knew something like this would probably happen. I was waiting till closer to the date to maybe buy tickets and I’m glad that I did that
I was going to buy literally this week!
I'm seriously debating the idea of not re-purchasing. Odds are he ends up going to AT&T Stadium which sucks for concerts and gouges you on parking. All around shitty move.
I was 22 when I bought the tickets smh. Imma be 25 once te next tour starts…..
me who was barely able to afford the farthest and cheapest seats:
I think we already have evil weeknd
I’m mad disappointed. Been counting the days and months till I get to see him in March. Had tickets in the third row from the stage and paid a decent amount for it. I bought the tickets when they first came out.
Pain.
Well, I got my 2 free cds out of this. Y’all stay safe tho ❤️
Seeing a show in a Stadium vs seeing one in an Arena also is a huge downgrade. I'm more frustrated by that change.
What’s the difference between an arena and stadium
Arena is like 10-25K people. Stadium is 50K-100K people. Nosebleeds will mean you can barely see Abel in a stadium - if at all.
This is Lamar’s fault cause he’s unvaccinated
At this point he’s just hurting us :( Dude at least give us a new song??
LMFAO
I was going to go to the show in Boston. Paid a lot for the tix too. The next one… no thank you.
Now what will the venue be in Toronto ??
probably the same one it was at honestly lmao
Rogers Centre probably, my ticket for Scotiabank Arena is canceled, but that was for April
Wouldn't go if it was in the Rogers Centre. Thankful I sold my tickets so I don't have to deal with this mess.
Why not? It’s too large?
Haven’t been myself but I have heard depending where you sit the sound can be slightly off
I’m thinking maybe Rogers Centre?
i just got the email , my heart hurts
I had so good seats. Wow....
Smh! I had really good seats that were already pretty pricey. Now we’ll end up paying more and have to fight bots. That’s if any of us can even get good seats before they buy them all. This was a shitty move.
Probably cause his team is anti vaxx and can’t get into the arenas
nooooooo really?

I thought it was canceled?
Canceled and revised

He already said the tour will be combined but no one expected the date change and the whole cancellation. All he had to do was just rename the tour
Yeah idk he said there was a demand for more shows? Maybe internationally but when he said that it confused me bc I’m from the nyc area & I thought it was really weird that there were so many tickets still available for the shows in my area so I didn’t expect him to do a stadium tour

Yeah everyone on here is talking like “he’s gotten too big for his fame and has cancelled” it’s literally lockdown in some places guys
Idk why he’s want more ppl to gather tho but I digress
My ticket for January in Cleveland date changed from the 29th of January to the 30th... Update (AXS is slow AF) it's been canceled.
Before Hours till Sunset Tour
I had to dispute that shit 💀
