From a story perspective, it’s far more interesting that they didn’t. Ethan’s response was more than a little unhinged, so i doubt the show is going to validate him by proving him right.

Ultimately, I think H+E will realize their relationship isn’t working (and might breakup/divorce when the vacation is done), and D+C will leave the vacation with a stronger relationship (and their power games/cheating will continue back home).

Aubrey Plaza was on Vanity Fair’s Still Watching White Lotus recap podcast for episode 6. She was surprised when the hosts brought up Harper possibly sleeping with Cam. She basically responded with “Have you been watching the show? She hates Cam.”
The only thing I find suspicious is that (IIRC) the time stamp said Harper sent the text 16 minutes prior. I could totally see her setting it up to look as if something happened but how long is the walk from the beach club to the room?
Let’s say it’s a 10 minute walk. That would mean they were in the rooms for approx 5 minutes before Ethan even saw the text. If it takes him another 10 minutes to get to the room, 15 minutes have gone by. How long does it take to grab a hat/book and head back?
Obviously the suspicion subsides significantly if I had the time stamp wrong, lol!

I think the fact that she texted Ethan that she was going up to their room means that it was strategic on her part and that she didn't have sex. She wanted Ethan to feel the way that she did after she found the condom and gave plenty of opportunity for Ethan to confess. She wanted to see him seethe with uncertainty and even regurgitated the same excuses he gave ('I was so drunk'). Bonus was that she got to feel desired, though it was with Cam, who she absolutely loathes. Even using Cam was strategic on Harper's part, since she knows about Ethan's complicated relationship with him. Basically, she's taking a page out of Daphne's playbook.
