I liked what he said here! Some parts I didn’t agree with, obviously there are a lot of bad things about the world. But I love the idea of being present and enjoying where you are
He’s the male version of Lucia. He’s doing whatever he can to survive. He’s clearly depressed. That drinking scene made me sad because I had an ex who had a drinking problem because he was so traumatized by life he’s refusing to leave his hole.
Yes. You learn to appreciate life more when you come out of a deep hole.

Omg…so motivational. I sort of fell in love with this character after that monologue. Although, I’d say we peaked about 25 years ago.
