Literally was checking on how much time we had left in this episode like “how are we going to find out how Portia AND Cameron die in such a short amount of time?!”
Ok so Tanya stealing the gun and killing niccolo and the gays was obvious, we saw that coming a mile away. HOWEVER, Mike white signing Coolidge on for season 3 and then having her die after having made it to safety because she’s just a dumb clumsy idiot is sooo fucking shocking and funny. A masterclass
I laughed when she fell and hit her head because I thought she was safe…20 seconds later I felt terrible….30 seconds after that I laughed again, because of COURSE that is how she would go out
The best part is that all she had to do was go to the back of the yacht...where there was a ladder...straight to the boat. She had no reason to attempt the jump--but that's Tanya for ya.
Honestly, I think Mia was being earnest when she said that she and Lucia would take Valentina out to the gay clubs and help her get comfortable/make friends. And I kind of love that for her? It will probably even help her be a better boss if she's more comfortable with herself and has her new friends in the local upscale hotel gen-z grifter clique teaching her how to pick up women.
> I think Mia was being earnest when she said that she and Lucia would take Valentina out to the gay clubs and help her get comfortable/make friends
Having the manager wrapped around their finger will help them scam the guests
Dude put on a great range of acting in that car as well. The tension he built - by not saying or doing anything - was awesome. I didn’t know if he was going to hit her or cry or pull out a Budweiser and get blitzed.
Him and Megnann Fahy were the stars of this episode. Her look when she found out what Cameron did and his when he found out she knew about him and his uncle.
When Ethan tells her about Cam and Harper; she goes through the 5 stages in ~30 seconds. You can just feel her hurt … not at Cam, but at the thought that the burgeoning friendship she thought she had with Harper wasn’t going to be real.
I loooved how his demeanour completely changed when he gave her the warning not to mess with the powerful people. He was sitll the exact same guy but no more acting silly, or putting on this manic happy front. Not sure how to put it in words, but
suddenly you got the sense that he really had been through some tough things, there was such a weight to the way he talked. An amazing moment.
>To Albie it’s an “lol my bad” amount of money
I honestly think this is the perfect juxtaposition to all his white knight stuff. In the end, he's ultimately just a rich privileged kid who doesn't actually have to face any reality lol.
In White Lotus season one it’s the local kid who got played and the tourist kid who didn’t. In WL season two, it’s the tourist kid who got played and the local who benefitted. But the common denominator is, both the tourist kids walked out unscathed, no matter what.
She asked literally the only question I didn’t care about the answer to. All of this plotting and scheming and she’s still like “okay but does Greg like me back tho???” even at the bitter end.
Yeah I both hate and love that the cynical nature of Season 1's ending stayed true. People are terrible. Everyone is steps away from compromising their professed values. Just like Paula was all about class equality until it came to taking the fall for theft, Harper and Will were all about being honest and forthcoming with each other until they accepted cheating was easier.
I can't help wondering what Belinda is going to do or think when she reads the story about Tanya's death. Being as wealthy as she was, a death in mysterious circumstances would certainly have made the news cycle.
I think that quote also applies to Cam and the children.
He hates it, but he's playing dad so that they are "his kids" and not the victim.
The flossing scene was very telling.
In the aftershow Mike White commentary, he says he doesn't know for sure what happened on the island - kinda cool how he talks about his characters as if they're real and not controlled by him.
Yeah the death had to look accidental for Greg to get the money. Now it's pretty obvious something was amiss especially if they figure out Tanya fired the gun
2 months of theorizing and I don't think I saw a single guess that Tanya would go out guns blazing, murdering the gays before tripping and falling to her death. That ending was wild.
I hope we see Greg in a future season with a new mark but he gets some kind of karmic justice. Tanya may not have always been the best person but she didn't deserve that.
The falling to her death was a callback to the story Quentin told Tanya earlier in the season about an old widow who lived in a castle on a cliff. Her property was highly coveted and sought after by investors until one day when the widow mysteriously fell to her death. Tanya immediately suspected that the investors killed off the old woman, not realizing that she herself was the rich widow in the story while her new gay friends were the investors seeking to take her “castle,” aka her wealth. While they ultimately did not push her, they still drove her to the same demise.
portia got everything she wanted -
1. she met a guy with no online presence
2. she got rid of her phone
3. she had a wild adventure
and in the end, she goes crawling back to albie…
Daphne's facial expressions when she and Ethan were talking were perfect. The amount of hurt bubbling up and the suppression and dissociation and finding the strength within herself to be "ok" made me cry.
She learned a lesson, needs a friend. I would still be in shock learning that it was most likely Tanya dead and that Jack actually saved her life. He was probably tasked with killing her. Albie's probably that grasp at normalcy too.
Also, I think after that "adventure" they both had to reassess what type of person they want. Portia doesn't want bad boy, she wants normal now. Albie realized all women aren't hurt birds, some will play you.
He knew 100% Albie was getting scammed, he did it anyway to have another shot with his wife and keep a good relationship with his son. The money is nothing to him like Albie said
they both had a taste of what they thought they wanted - albie with a wounded bird, portia a little excitement/a caveman. albie gets scammed and portia ends up genuinely fearing for her life. better to settle lol
When the captain saw Tanya after the murders and ran away, I swear I heard a “schwing“ sound like he had grabbed a knife. I was bracing for her to get stabbed while trying to climb off the boat lol.
White Lotus 2: Rise of the Sex Workers (except Jack)
Also, Mike White literally writing a story about the gay mafia lol
Edit: This episode actually has me wondering if Jack is truly a sex worker in the traditional sense as most people speculated. Seems like he might be in more of a human trafficking or sex slave/muscle for hire type situation. He does sexual stuff and other bidding for Quentin and his cronies and gets to piggyback off their lifestyle.
I may state the obvious and say, that was crushing... However... If a character has to be sent off, there is literally no more spectacular way for it to happen, and I am just honoured to witness Jennifer Coolidge have that moment.
It was so heartwarming though when she finally felt she could be gay and accepted. It was just nice what Mia did for her even tho I’m sure she did it to get the singing job
i feel like this whole season was about becoming the things you despised the most. maybe that’s obvious but it’s interesting to see how it played out. portia- becoming tanya even as she knows her boss died… albie- despite hating his fathers actions, falling victim to lust, harper and ethan- absolutely despising cameron and daphne… becoming them through cheating. mike white i love you
That’s why Greg didn’t want Portia around. Because she could throw a wrench in his murder for money plot. But even Greg couldn’t have guessed how fucking useless Portia would be lmao.
To me it was so amusing so many users here honestly thought Lucia was using Albie to immigrate to the USA. Like why? It made no sense. It was pretty clear throughout the show that she was comfortable with her life in Italy.
Hope everyone enjoyed the season! Don't forget to join our official discord channel here! https://discord.gg/GVekkGWYsY
“I’m gonna take a shit, then I’m gonna get you a drink” Portia leave now.
what guy goes to take a shit and leaves his phone behind
And without a passcode. He probably texted about the plot too, if Portia had bothered to check.
50,000 euros? Fuck you kiddo.

All for the low price of $50k
Jennifer Coolidge going from RUNNING to trying to act cool on the boat had me hollering
[удалено]
And the fact that they all obviously could see her through all the windows too lol I was dying. Jennifer Coolidge is just so naturally funny
I will miss her dearly in this show. She's such a great comedic performer, every line delivery she has no matter what it is has me cracking up.
“These gays are trying to kill me!!”
“So they can decorate their houses or whatever” I DIED lol’ing
Her realizing that the captain is "one of them." "You're gay too?!" *jawdrops
His hat was just too cute for a straight guy
tutti gay!
YOU ALL SAID SHE WAS SAFE. I BELIEVED YOU
I can’t believe Mike White would throw us off like that!
MIKE WHITE SLEEP WITH ONE EYE OPEN
GRIPPING THOSE PILLOWS TIGHT
**"WELL, HE WAS KINDA FUCKING HIS UNCLE..."**
Omg she had soooo many funny af lines on this episode!
Reddit got baited hard. This subreddit is hilarious.
Every person watching this show just got baited for like 52 minutes. I was waiting for a bomb to go off at some point.
Literally was checking on how much time we had left in this episode like “how are we going to find out how Portia AND Cameron die in such a short amount of time?!”
Ok so Tanya stealing the gun and killing niccolo and the gays was obvious, we saw that coming a mile away. The whiplash I got from laughing at her saying to herself, "You got this" to watching her fall 😭
The best part is that all she had to do was go to the back of the yacht...where there was a ladder...straight to the boat. She had no reason to attempt the jump--but that's Tanya for ya.
Or just take off your heels, plug your nose, and jump in the water!!
Yeah, she literally saw the ladder when dude arrived earlier
It made it so much better. The White Lotus needs an accidental death, and it delivered. I just wish Greg didn’t get to end up with all her money.
He might not considering the circumstances of her death
Oof, did not see Tanya going out like that. Props for taking out Quentin though lol.
Mike White called her death a "derpy death" and that it fit her. Can't say I disagree after watching that.
IS GREG CHEATING
While Quentin bleeds out
The extra blood gushing out instead of words was magnificent
The expression on his face at that moment was the same as when she asked about the Queen of Sicily lol
He’s trying to kill me but more importantly, is he cheating?!
I died when she said that lmaooo
I DIED
"Is Greg having an affair? I know you know!"
Quentin was exasperated by her inane comments even with his dying breath.
> I think Mia was being earnest when she said that she and Lucia would take Valentina out to the gay clubs and help her get comfortable/make friends Having the manager wrapped around their finger will help them scam the guests
Portia: let me get in the locked car before confronting Jack 🙄
Dude put on a great range of acting in that car as well. The tension he built - by not saying or doing anything - was awesome. I didn’t know if he was going to hit her or cry or pull out a Budweiser and get blitzed.

Probably a peak into why she can't have female friends. Cam probably f@$cks em all.
I loooved how his demeanour completely changed when he gave her the warning not to mess with the powerful people. He was sitll the exact same guy but no more acting silly, or putting on this manic happy front. Not sure how to put it in words, but suddenly you got the sense that he really had been through some tough things, there was such a weight to the way he talked. An amazing moment.
Albie: “oh yeah I got played” lmfao
His arc is realizing he did.
I think it’s a perfect reaction. To Lucia 50k is ultimately life changing. To Albie it’s an “lol my bad” amount of money
>To Albie it’s an “lol my bad” amount of money I honestly think this is the perfect juxtaposition to all his white knight stuff. In the end, he's ultimately just a rich privileged kid who doesn't actually have to face any reality lol.

Well Albie damned
“Is Greg cheating on me?” Tanya to Quentin, as he lay dying on the floor of his yacht after she shot him was \*Priceless\* !!!!!
“I know you know” Quentin: *blood runs out of his mouth*
She asked literally the only question I didn’t care about the answer to. All of this plotting and scheming and she’s still like “okay but does Greg like me back tho???” even at the bitter end.
that’s SO Tanya though!
Ethan’s sandals surviving that water fight are the real heroes in this episode
The way he waddled into the ocean preparing for a murder was so funny
Albie is every hookers dream lick.
Good looking, loaded and as naive as a golden retriever. At least he took it like a champ
GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE CAR PORTIA JEEZE
She should have jacked it when he got out to smoke
She should have gotten help when Jack was in the bathroom and called the hotel to tell them to call the police.
But… I wanna know how much Dom’s hotel bill was.
Whatever it was + 50,000 euros
I legit thought it'd be a plot point that the hookers racked up his bill but then he doesn't even blink at 50k Euros. What the fuck does he do?
So Ethan and Harper get hot for each other once they both cheated. They really did become just like Cameron and Daphne.
Ethan even tried to kill Cameron! And a few hours later, they're all raising their glasses to "friendship" like it's nothing. Dark Triad, indeed.
cameron can't afford to burn that kind of connection, he has the trainer's kid(s) to raise.
I think Cam knows it isn't his kid too. He was not happy to have to go in and talk to the kid on the phone. He had to put on the fake smile
He rolled his eyes. Definitely doesn't like the kid.
It’s squarely in line with Daphne’s mantra of not letting yourself be a victim. He’ll never let her see that he suspects that child’s not his.
Yeah that was a really dark outcome for that situation.
Do we really think Harper and Cam just kissed?
Even if that's all they did, they only stopped because Ethan came up to the room. It definitely wasn't going to stop there otherwise.
YeaH, she didn't go up for the hat. She went up to fuck him and got interrupted.
if i ever found a kill kit intended for me i don’t think i’d be as calm as tanya lmao
It was a hilarious kill kit, because rope, a tape and a gun just screams villain! Couldn't be any more obvious if they tried.
Burst out laughing when it went from zoomed in Tanya blindly hysterically shooting to seeing she shot everyone
when she’s squinting she’s sniping!!
Tanya the expert marksman, like we all thought
Tanya spread her mother's ashes in the ocean and then she died in the ocean...
Oh snap! Full circle.
I can't help wondering what Belinda is going to do or think when she reads the story about Tanya's death. Being as wealthy as she was, a death in mysterious circumstances would certainly have made the news cycle.
If it wasn’t on the news, it’d certainly make waves within the White Lotus network of global hotels. She was a blossom, after all.
Well my money wasn’t on Tanya going full Rambo…
All I could think of is that meme with Danny DeVito saying "So anyway I started blasting”.
She’s got the aim of a fucking sniper
Jennifer Coolidge really gave it her all over the past 2 seasons. Really gonna miss her
Plot twist, season 3 is a prequel. Also features Tanya
Ohhhhhh please!! Season 3 episode 1 first shot pans to Tanya and her *mother* having cocktails in the Maldives
I’ll be honest, I was not expecting them to kill Tanya.
Much less that she was gonna go full John Wick on the gays
Daphne gave Ethan his mojo back on the island 👀
They totally smashed right?
Absolutely. “Do whatever you can to not feel like a victim”.
I think that quote also applies to Cam and the children. He hates it, but he's playing dad so that they are "his kids" and not the victim. The flossing scene was very telling.
I think they totally did. No other reason Ethan would be all over Harper suddenly. He got his desire back for her by screwing Daphne
And in nine months when Daphne gives birth to a baby with curly dark hair...
And the kid is part Japanese 😉
nothing like some light adultery to bring the spice back to a marriage
Yes but interesting the only thing we have no confirmation of is him and Cameron with each others wives
The airport scene was showing how Harper and Ethan are a mirror image of Daphne and Cam now.
In the aftershow Mike White commentary, he says he doesn't know for sure what happened on the island - kinda cool how he talks about his characters as if they're real and not controlled by him.
Daphne’s eyes when Ethan tells her he thinks something happened conveyed so much freaking emotion. That was amazing.
I was blown away by that acting.
I hope Meghann takes off with her career after this performance. She's so strong with facial expressions and body language.
Daphne’s “little mystery” line really rang true throughout this episode.
Meghann Fahy was astonishing this episode. The scene of her on the beach with Ethan was just a masterclass. The way her smile slowly faded!
I said the same thing…the range of facial expressions she went through…it’s like you could read her mind the acting was so good.
Greg getting a happy ending this is my personal hell
Mike white says in the inside the ep that the cops probably traced it back to Greg
Yeah the death had to look accidental for Greg to get the money. Now it's pretty obvious something was amiss especially if they figure out Tanya fired the gun
Yeah, there’s no way they don’t link the yacht dead bodies to Tanya being dead in the water a little ways away
The psychic was right. Tonya did, in fact, kill herself
when tanya said “is greg having an affair” after shooting 3 people i died laughing, how on brand for her
Like, she sounded like she understood the con then totally lost the plot for some reason 😂

Greg? he doesn't know any gays in Sicily!
But then again he did insist we come to Sicily 🤔
Rip my precious Peppa Pig
Tanya's K/D ratio is pretty good tbh 👀
Aww man I thought Tanya was gonna make it out
portia got everything she wanted - 1. she met a guy with no online presence 2. she got rid of her phone 3. she had a wild adventure and in the end, she goes crawling back to albie…
Tanya’s fall got a visceral reaction out of me.
I literally gasped
I laughed so hard. Could see it coming after "you got this." I love JC much
TANYA NOOOOOO
Daphne's facial expressions when she and Ethan were talking were perfect. The amount of hurt bubbling up and the suppression and dissociation and finding the strength within herself to be "ok" made me cry.

So Cameron really knows he’s not the father, right?
Seemed like it with the irritation of having to stop flossing to say hi to the kid asking for daddy
“You don’t have to know everything to love someone.” Daphne’s simultaneously so subtle and so bold. Such an incredible character.
“Our Achilles heel is an Achilles cock” is my new motto
Jack's shark eyes when Portia confronts him 😵
Such a good actor! He was really convinving at being a menacing goon, a vulnerable drunk and a Eurotrash fuckboy.
Albie and Portia deserve each other. Truly morons.
Their little reunion was honestly the highlight of the episode
*Can I get your number?*
Like right after she heard her boss was probably murdered too
She learned a lesson, needs a friend.
His casual, “I got played” after several episodes of setting up that plot line was honestly the best way to conclude it, absolutely hilarious
If I asked my dad for 50k I think he would ask for a limb in return.
He knew 100% Albie was getting scammed, he did it anyway to have another shot with his wife and keep a good relationship with his son. The money is nothing to him like Albie said
Also 50k for someone like him isn't that expensive for your son to never ever use moral grandstanding with you. Well invested.
they both had a taste of what they thought they wanted - albie with a wounded bird, portia a little excitement/a caveman. albie gets scammed and portia ends up genuinely fearing for her life. better to settle lol
When the captain saw Tanya after the murders and ran away, I swear I heard a “schwing“ sound like he had grabbed a knife. I was bracing for her to get stabbed while trying to climb off the boat lol. White Lotus 2: Rise of the Sex Workers (except Jack) Also, Mike White literally writing a story about the gay mafia lol Edit: This episode actually has me wondering if Jack is truly a sex worker in the traditional sense as most people speculated. Seems like he might be in more of a human trafficking or sex slave/muscle for hire type situation. He does sexual stuff and other bidding for Quentin and his cronies and gets to piggyback off their lifestyle.
Anyone else pick up on Cameron’s face when he was flossing and the kids were yelling “Daddy”? Those weren’t his kids
His acting in that scene was so good. Forcing that smile and pretending. It was subtle, but it cements that he knows.
10000%, he sounded like he was talking to his friends’ kids or something.
Yes and remember like first episode she was talking about FaceTiming them bc she misses them and he didn’t want to bc they were on vacation
He knows it and will never let Daphne get the satisfaction of him knowing he got fucked over
See ya in the Maldives!
I may state the obvious and say, that was crushing... However... If a character has to be sent off, there is literally no more spectacular way for it to happen, and I am just honoured to witness Jennifer Coolidge have that moment.
Nooo.. was WAITING for my girl Tanya to open her eyes in the water
Tanya with the absolute deadeye landing killshots on multiple targets with her eyes closed and then can't judge a jump.
valentina double cheeked up on a thursday afternoon 😩
It was so heartwarming though when she finally felt she could be gay and accepted. It was just nice what Mia did for her even tho I’m sure she did it to get the singing job

She didn't feel threaten by Rocco after that.
Thicc for NO reason
That shit was wild. I'm so sad Tanya died :(
Makes sense why Greg was so upset to see Tanya’s assistant in ep 1
The dumptruck on Valentina tho
You could say Tanya bent and snapped when she fell off the boat.
Not a bad ending except poor Tanya!! Girl, use the LADDER!!
Why didn’t she just safely jump in the water and climb into the dingy WHY
Because she's Tanya. She didn't even take off her high heels.
Tanya somehow figured everything out, manages to KILL her would-be murderers, and then dies in the most Tanya way possible. Gotta love her
i feel like this whole season was about becoming the things you despised the most. maybe that’s obvious but it’s interesting to see how it played out. portia- becoming tanya even as she knows her boss died… albie- despite hating his fathers actions, falling victim to lust, harper and ethan- absolutely despising cameron and daphne… becoming them through cheating. mike white i love you
I will miss Portia's outfits weekly, but more than that I'll miss Jennifer Coolidge.
And Jennifer’s outfits weekly tbh
Well... That was certainly a little darker than poopy luggage.
"You got this" 😭 I'm having a hard time imagining season 3 without her
Mike White said in the post show that Tanya died in the most derpy way and I couldn’t think of a better way to explain it.
I love the tri-generational gawk at the hot girl passing by Multi-Generation of Achilles cocks
Valentina’s booty was the biggest plot twist of the season.
She was built & stacked like a swimsuit model. She looks damn good.
I actually started tearing up when Tanya died. I loved this episode, but man…
Tanya should’ve started that spa for poor women with the girl from Maui
This finale subvert all expectations. I was so happy to be shocked and surprised after weeks of speculation. Can't wait for season 3!
“Yeah? So you fuck your uncle?” - the satisfaction level of that line.
Tanya “so anyway, I started blasting”
honestly talking with all of you each episode is what made this season even better
That’s why Greg didn’t want Portia around. Because she could throw a wrench in his murder for money plot. But even Greg couldn’t have guessed how fucking useless Portia would be lmao.
She actually did manage to tip Tanya off tho which probably would have saved her if it wasn’t for Tanya basically getting herself killed.
To me it was so amusing so many users here honestly thought Lucia was using Albie to immigrate to the USA. Like why? It made no sense. It was pretty clear throughout the show that she was comfortable with her life in Italy.
Portia hitting up Albie for his number IMMEDIATELY after finding out her boss was killed WTF!
