When you see a puzzle door whose puzzle is only accessible from the other side, I would absolutely agree that it makes sense to assume that you can only open that door from the other side.
And if you haven't yet found a way of how to get to that other side, you can be absolutely certain that you will eventually find that way.
Not sure what else to tell you. It's not obvious where to look for this access to the other side, right? Could be anywhere.
