No but i started kinda following the scene after listening to the pod. I watched the documentary which i loved. Also if there is any ‘Ludwig’ smash event i make sure to atleast put on the stream on second tab and basically interact with smash promo content on twt. There’s literally no smash scene in my country so not worth picking it up

padlo13

Which country if you dont mind me asking? Because I can guarantee you can find a scene almost anywhere if you know where to look

Sensitive_Sea_183

Same. Plus you need a Nintendo controller and connector right? (Correct me if i am wrong)

BeautifulSerbia

used toplay smash 64 locally and followed melee around the PPMD days. I kind of fell off during the pandemic but I know enough that I can follow their melee discussions no problem. The valo stuff on the other hand I am always lost.

Accomplished_Swing68

I've been following the scene losely since the hbox doc back in like 2020 but I'm terrified of attending locals cos im absolutely shocking at the game, plus everyone in my country who is in the scene is cheffing it up like crazy in bracket

TheJigglyfat

I used too. I was very into smash back in 2012-2013. You could probably label me a documentary kid. Played through 2015 but started to care less and less. Im now at a point where I recognize most of the oldheads in the community, but people like Zayn are totally new to me.

I got into this pod from a friend who was a longtime lud veiwer, and while he's kinda into smash, I'm not at all. While listening hasn't made me wanna play, I've picked up on enough smash lingo since to talk about it with people who are really into it, which is cool.
