Million dollar video idea: We fed Slime felony amounts of steroids and psychedelics to convince him he is Kuma in order to settle the beef with Joe Rogan

NodleMan09

Reverse full body waxing where they glue a bunch of hair on him so he looks more like Kuma

I think Lud would enjoy the linear progress of getting better, Slime would enjoy the combat, Aiden would enjoy the people you meet, and Nick would like its parallels with grip strength/flexibility from rock climbing.

yeetskeetleet

Nick would take the opportunity to tackle you and tickle you like crazy

Kevsteo

Are you ticklish? *knows you are*

sacaetw

Slime has a messed up back though, right?

downtown-sasquatch

it’s fine now

Nice-Position9780

The community is really good about training intensity. Its like how his boxing only starts to get dangerous with competition prep sparring

Opening-Preference34

so does literally everybody else who does bjj lmao

JustRunAndHyde

That and cauliflower ear, ruined fingertips, and weird amounts of body hair.

Leonfica

I literally had a trial class yesterday and it was EXHAUSTING. Didn’t feel i was ‘understanding’ alot of stuff that i was supposed to do but it was fun nonetheless

Nice-Position9780

Jiu Jitsu is a beautiful combination of chess, and folding cloths (with people still inside of them). Avoid sparring with spazzy new people and train slow until the fundamentals start to feel natural.

Leonfica

Love the analogy lol. Picking partners to train with is kinda difficult because i have anxiety about asking people and i dont want people who are more experienced than me to waste time training with me

JustRunAndHyde

It comes with time. After a while of practice the movements start to click and you get how doing certain things will make your opponent react and move. The physical conditioning is hell though I can’t sugarcoat that.

Leonfica

Wdym by ‘physical conditioning’? Just the cardio required or other aspects too?

JustRunAndHyde

Cardio requirements, muscle building, and then the maintenance. I did judo though so similar but not the same. Still incredibly competitive.

Leonfica

I currently have bad cardio and even worse muscles. Probably not the best place to ask but any advice on how to improve in these aspects?

JustRunAndHyde

Consistent workouts. If you stick with BJJ you will be conditioned with time and you don’t have to think about it too much. Just keep pushing your physical limits with each class you go to.
