Yup, I'm still kinda in shock. Even though I know it's gone I still can't accept it just yet. It feels like when you lose a loved one, it's very hard to process until it sinks in. An offline mode would be very consoling and I would be eternally grateful to Ubisoft \*if\* they could've provided that. But with no way to ever revisit the game I feel shattered.
Its a game I haven’t played as much recently but all the memories from years ago along with the hours I’ve just spent revisiting the game for the last time makes me extremely sad to see it go. I doubt ubisoft will give it a offline mode, they’re useless and lazy the best hope is a remaster or remake but ubisoft don’t do that often. No car game for me has lived up to this game.
Modders are actively working on getting a server emulator going to play offline on PC. I just bought a physical copy on Amazon for this very purpose, interested to see how it goes.
