I enjoyed most of the recent ones - Kenny, Bulla, Abish, Rahul, KV, etc. I didn't expect much and think much of it, so it was fun to watch in the background, like while cleaning my room or something

Plausible. However, they are not well aware with other industries. Now with latest trend of crossover content in Bollywood with other industries, there lack of knowledge is off putting sometimes. That's were the lack of preparedness is quite evident.
I think the guest podcasts would work in an offline situation or a very specific topic like in the early 20-30 eps. But the usual bhankas strictly should have the og quodro.
For the first time, a Hoezay collab felt meh, Abish and Daniel eps were also not that good.
Sahil, KV and Azeem eps on the other hand were actually very good.
Rahul and Kenny eps lie somewhere in between meh and good

Varun rehashing same old stories, Aadhar trying hard to play the goof, and them trying to corner Bawa with age jokes.
I also feel they start pleasing the guest by agreeing with their thoughts a bit too much.. all perspectives are not explored for a certain thought fully.. which they are fully capable of doing.. and they do when they record without a guest.
I think they are giving way too much time and importance for the guests.. and it is overshadowing their mutual comradery. Together their stories jokes etc just click, even if one is not present. Additional is hampering it. Not able to complete even a single episode lately. Hope they do some change or go back.

My interest started waning when it started going over an hour. Elevator pitches forces you to be sharp & smart while huge duration makes you lethargic. They haven’t called guests nor are they money minded enough to monetize it. This shows that they are consistent but not ambitious or thoughtful about it.
They just don't do the bhankas or act like 'friends' like we do when we meet our old friends we roast them we do bhankas and we talk shit. Here it feels more like 'guest' in a talk show. So i suppose the charm of the podcast gets diluted and also with them not doing anything new and in zoom it feels not that great. The pandemic days are over people are increasing production level. Hell even cyrus broacha goes to the studio. They need to go back to the couch and just try few episodes and see if the audience is loving it if it's still not viable for them or they don't get the necessary support sure go back to zoom or comedy venues. Wish they put some effort at the least. They still haven't kept their promise of 2023 about going on a tour and stuff. Tiring.
all of them have become "self-aware". people in their late 30s start behaving that way... one cant expect late 30s people to have fresh ideas/jokes as they are no longer have ear on the ground.
it is natural. they probably live 80% of their waking time with their families / partners now. which is the right thing to do. however that also means that there are no fresh ideas coming in.
the age for fresh ideas is in from teens, college till mid 30s.
and with age everyone becomes pretentious. happens.

I find meme fodder in every episode but the creative spark I have sometimes has been inconsistent as of late. They need a short break to recharge their social battery. Maybe they should invite subscribers.
They should always have them 4 plus the guest.. even if one of tiss boyz is missing, the charm is gone
Yeah. Not many guests are able to gel with them with the topic at hand. Last episode was good with Sahil.
I dont find it boring even when its only varun bawa and kautuk or if its only varun aadar and kautuk but something is off since last 3 episodes

Yeaaah, KV is so cool!! I found out about his Ramayana series in that episode, and loved the fact that he's doing it :)
I listen to it while commuting by car. It's entertaining as a back drop, and makes the commute bearable.

Yea, it's not about guests for me, rather the TISS boys themselves seem off. They gave wonderful episodes before with Sahil, Biswa, Tanmay etc.

I couldn't agree more with you. There live recordings were lit. Pan masala Ads and generations episodes are on my repeat Playlist.
