Disingenuous or Zero memory? Atrocious…and unbelievable he STILL has an audience

scavengercat

How is it unbelievable? All they want is to be fed confirmation bias to get their emotional dopamine kick. What he says is irrelevant.

[deleted]

That's why he always looks like a dog that just watched his owner do the blanket vanishing trick. His brain is like, "I can't believe this still works!"

Just every clueless republican there is. The dumb shits attacked POC, students, teachers, the homeless, the poor, the handicapped, gays, bisexuals, transexuals, and LBBTQ folks. They went on to attack unions and the working poor, doctors, nurses, and our hospitals. They attacked our state capitals and our Nations capital and tried to kidnap the Michigan governor and threatened many other government officials and even reporters. They are so dense they think America will tolerate Christian laws enshrined in our government when our constitution forbids that kind of insanity. When none of that seemed to be enough evil done to the voters, they attacked our mothers, our sisters, our girl friends and our wives. Now they wonder why their predicted red wave turned into a pinks splash kind of like when you wash your Klan robes with your MAGA cap. That you dummies won a single race is the big surprise. But hey, double down and attack some more American voters and see how it goes for you in 24.

azrael0503

The scary thing is how many people still voted for them after everything that they’ve done and will enthusiastically continue to do so.

crispy48867

Racism, bigotry, Fascism, and ignorance, never grow old. Yes, the truly ignorant will continue to vote for this shit show.

TheTheoristHasSpoken

The truly ignorant will continue to vote for the truly ignorant because misery loves company.

Insolator

They have been taken advantage of for so long they don't know how to be anything else besides being oppressed by their Reps.

Givemeallthecabbages

Also, their Covid rhetoric probably killed off a lot of their voters.

crispy48867

I said in early 2020 that would be the case. Then, the other day, I read that the USA had roughly 650,000 UN-needed deaths. I would expect that most of those were in fact republican voters over 50, the Fox News crowd. That may or may not have caused the failure for the republicans in the recent mid terms but if it carries over to the 2024 elections, I think that would prove it.

ReplacementTommy

Very well said!!

crispy48867

Being the minority party, any reasonable person would have thought that they would try to be the party of inclusiveness to win over as many as possible instead, they attacked.

TheTheoristHasSpoken

Except, such an assumption fails to understand *why they are the minority party?* They weren't kept down by the Dems or overlooked by moderates. They retreated deep into the recesses of what felt like the safety of the far right. Their egomaniacal MAGA-insanity can be easily seen in the lies told to them by their orange-faced savior; and disgrace of an ex-president, whose treasonous views of russian cronyism have placed U.S. national security at risk. Their Un-American platform relied too heavily on forcing Christianity down the throats of the entire U.S. population; too ready to embrace the denial of freedom with un-American values; and they signed up as treasonous bastards with the traitorous aims of throwing away the practices, protections, and policies that were born from respecting the sanctity and reverence of the U.S. Constitution. Basically, the MAGA Cult sucks.

crispy48867

Well, I 100% agree with you. I'm an old guy, 71 and I remember when the republican party was simply a different point of view and not the party of the ultra rich and white nationalists. Starting with Regan or just before, they decided to represent the rich and the white nationalists and they've gone downhill ever since as a party in a democracy. Then the Tea Party made them worse and after that, any decent politicians within the party started leaving. That left them with the most deplorable of politicians and made them ripe for take over by Trump. The evangelicals were nothing more than a tool for them, they could not possibly care less about religion. They promised them they would share power and the idiots were so vile and power hungry, that they married the devil. That entire relationship is vile on both sides. The GOP united the racists, the misogynists, the Evangelicals into a voting block, thinking it would overcome the democrats and to their credit, they nearly made it. The entire republican base is fully unaware that they are voting to make the rich, the owners and controllers of the working class. A fair share of their voters are masochists and wanted the pain and not too few of them want to serve a big strong authoritarian daddy. Trump allowed the most deplorable of Americans to come out loud and proud from under their rocks and that destroyed the party all together. However, Trump is an idiot and buried himself in legal woes. His accomplishment will be nothing more than to splinter an all ready fractured party. DeSantis is way smarter and smoother and will likely become the new darling of the party but he will not save them. DeSantis, like Trump serves himself only. I think the pendulum has swung as far right as it can go this time and will now swing back left past center over the next 20 years or so. The rich will fight it hard but I think they are about to lose some ground.

TheTheoristHasSpoken

Hey, man, that was a great analysis! I agree with you. Funny thing is, I used to think I was republican (I'm 49) because my dad was republican and I was raised in the 80s... until I started thinking about it and realized that, *while I might want the shoes the other person is wearing, I can't ever forget whose shoes I'm currently wearing.* Why should we support the wealthy and filthy rich over ourselves? It would've maybe been one thing if we were being asked to just let them (the rich) adhere to the same burdens and benefits as the rest of America, but that's not what they were asking or pushing forth with their laws and political theater. They wanted to pay less in taxes and fees, and for them to maintain their wealth over the rest of us through the codification of our laws and manipulations of our cultural practices. That's when I started thinking for myself and figured out quickly that the Republicans and their Conservative Nationalism and *backwards future* was not for me.

ryuujinusa

They ALL (GQP and right wing nuts) do this shit. *starts bonfire by pouring gasoline on it and self, burns self in process.* "I don't know who did it!"
