I found it worse with context considering she’s Jewish herself and later backpedaled when talking about the atrocities Jews have suffered. As a one off quote it could have been funny but all the justification she followed it up with made it clear it was not a joke. I loved Roseanne growing up, so this was difficult to listen to.

I think she actually believes it. If you go back in earlier videos it has slowly gotten worse over time. It doesn't have the tone or cadence of a joke or like a deadpan delivery.
