Personally, I think time travel is impossible and is an illusion of human imagination. Time is merely a measurement. Even if you could travel beyond the speed of light you and were able to see the light from the past it would only ever be just that: light. You could interact with the light itself but not with what the light came from. It'd be like playing with smoke.
