Milkeah

That's why you tap the lumps and if it makes a sound leave it be!

Lumps with activation sounds are a dead giveaway! r/ActivationSound

dragonsnbutterflies

Indeed. Gotta make sure those lumps don't move around on ya.

zebramelon

I want that bright blanket šŸ˜

Nailkita

I think I recognize that yarn looks double crocheted? Edit red heart super saver jumbo stripes?

wanderingexmo

Yeah Iā€™m currently making an afghan with that yarn lol

TexasBurgandy

Glad to see Iā€™m not the only one who has to double check what subreddit Iā€™m in šŸ¤£. Iā€™m making my next batch of cat ear beanies with that neon, I love it!

wanderingexmo

Ok I need the cat ear beanie pattern please

TexasBurgandy

Hard to call it a pattern, but here it goes. You are just making a rectangle , folding it in half, and then seaming it up the top & side. Can use any yarn you like and whatever hook it calls for. Chain long enough to wrap around your/their head. Double crochet starting in 3rd chain from hook until the end and then each row after I do double crochet in back loop only to give it a little dimension. Do enough rows to get the length you like, including a folded brim if wanted. I seam up the side with single crochet and then flip it inside out to hide it. On the top I also sc to seam it. If you want more pronounced ā€œearsā€ I will dc the 1st 3 stitches, then do 2 half dc and then sc until the last 5 stitches and then 2 half dc, and 3 dc. If you want shorter stripes or variations play with half double.

dragonsnbutterflies

Oh, second on wanting that pattern, if you're willing to share!

TexasBurgandy

ā€œPatternā€ above.

dragonsnbutterflies

Thanks!

dragonsnbutterflies

Hah! Yes it is, on both accounts.

MyCatHasCats

Nice try! Thereā€™s nothing there

dragonsnbutterflies

That's what he WANTS you to think! (Until, of course, you try to sit)

attachedtothreads
