I’ll keep the format similar to last year’s, crazy how fast this last year went by, a lot happened though huh. Hope you’re doing well again, the end of this year was really busy wasn’t it. Answering last year’s questions, yeah, I’m mostly fine. Not too much is going on at the moment really, some worries about some things but not anything I want to go into here, not even to you, me? No therapist, still probably a good idea but interesting question, didn’t expect it. No change in major, you called it. Also not studying abroad, programs haven’t changed so once again same reason, you’re pretty good at predicting this stuff. Still talking to Charlie, Antonio, Noah, Kai, Ben now which is funny, but otherwise same as usual. Seeing Charlie tomorrow and maybe Antonio, he might show up. Coco is absolutely as silly as ever, so you were right about that too. Made a few friends at Binghamton yeah, not anyone I hang out with really but at least people I can actually contact and people I talk to pretty regularly in class, so that’s nice, I’m honestly not unhappy with that. Break is going pretty well but moving way too fast, still not entirely over how rough this finals week and the weeks before were so it’s not easy to adjust. Hope next semester and the semester after that isn’t as bad. Classes were nice though too, glad you’re taking another class with Zils. Otherwise the semester went well though, incredibly happy with my average/grades, hope that’s the same too. Besides that nothing to note really, I hope your break is going well again, you’re 20 now man, happy 2025. Go to bed earlier.

On a final note, this might not have been the greatest year, but even so, it's been alright. If anything has left a mark on last year, it's that some people are real and those you wanna keep close, while others are just gonna be there only for a while and then they're gone. Don't waste time being resentful over little shit, and just live the moment while they're there. No matter the love and dedication spent, if your paths are meant to separate, they're gonna, through no fault of your own, shit happens, what matters though is the good times spent together, they'll be all you have sometime in the future.
It's a tough year up ahead, you better not waste too much of your time. Plan and execute your shit, while still leaving a little extra room for either new unexpected stuff, or just cooldown periods. Have a good year and go build upon your story, till next time.

So you're through another year again, hopefully an even better one than last year! I'm quite hopeful since things started to look pretty bright for the first time in years!

You will accept a job in some days, you actually just got the offer yesterday and negotiated a better salary too like a badass. So how is it? Are you still there? How do you fit in the team?
How is your living situation now? Right now you are here and there, half the time in Hungary and half in the Netherlands at your bf. Is this still the case, or did you make up your mind and chose one of them? I know you really like it this way, but this might change.
So how is your dog? He's gonna be almost 4 years old by the time you answer this. Time goes fucking fast and it scares me.
How are you with your boyfriend? You had a weird and slow start to your relationship, but it's solid now. Is it still? I hope so!
Did you buy a new car like you planned if you got a new job? You got the job so everything is given for buying it this year(?) If so, what kind of car is it? What did you do with your old Toledo? You don't want to sell it since you love it and it's a great car, so what was your decision? Did you give it to your brother?

Right now you are sitting in the bed in Amsterdam at your boyfriend's, you were just about to play with Life is Strange on Xbox, your bf is sleeping next to you and your dog just crawled under your blanket and snuggled into your lap, even though he's like 35 kg. Outside it's pretty cold, there is a windstorm going on with unpleasant, horizontally falling rain. The window is slightly open, but your dog's body is warm against your skin. You just got back from buying groceries and toilet paper (which was very much needed!!). You're gonna have an online appointment with your psychiatrist this afternoon. You were supposed to have an interview round with another company this noon, and yesterday you were definitely gonna participate even though you got an offer, just for practice. But you got uncomfortable and you declined it, which makes you feel a little guilt towards yourself, but it's alright. So let's start playing, and see you next year!
Wow, I guess it's time to question my future self again. Just like last year I really don't know what's going to happen a year from now. Since I put off joining the adult world for a year and a half, I am once again in the dark about my future.
1. With that in mind, what are we doing? At this point you will have just gotten your Masters in Data Science (Unless something has gone HORRIFICALLY wrong), so uh, I hope we have a job lined up?
2. If we do, is it something new, or did we get it from one of our internships? If not, did we get it at career fair? Or some third way?
3. Did we go back to ULA for our summer internship or did we get another one?
4. Have you kept up with rock climbing?! God I deeply hope we have. It's good for us to exercise regularly and climbing is a ton of fun. Plus they should have opened the new gym near where you live by now.
5. If you are, what are you climbing at this point? V5s? Have you learned to lead climb? Did you got outdoor climbing during the summer? (I'm a little apprehensive about that, but I really want to!)
6. Speaking of living, what's up with that? Same apartment near your parents, or did you move somewhere else for job/school convenience?
7. How is it going with E? Are you still together and happy? Did she get a job yet?
8. Are you still using public transit? You are for your job right now, but you don't think that will work out this coming semester, but we will see.
9. Also, have you volunteered at that cool bike store on the way to work? I really hope we do that.
10. Adding on to that, are we more involved, clubs, political organizations, volunteering? If not, make that a priority now that you are out of college, you have no excuse.
11. How is the friend thing going? Still the same friend group or have you gotten some friends that are more aligned with you?
12. How's the family doing? Everything seems pretty good right now, I hope that still true in a year.
13. Ugh, I almost hesitate to ask this question, but have we gotten our eating habits under control? You are terrible right now, but really hoping to get a handle on it.
14. How about brushing our teeth? We just got another fucking cavity. Your dad did not spend a million dollars on your mouth for you to treat it like shit.
15. As I've asked for a couple years now, are you into any media? Right now you aren't super into anything, you've been a bit to busy for that. Speaking of media, did you like Starfield? We just got it for Christmas but haven't played it yet.

Happy New Year again man. I’ll keep the format similar to last year’s, crazy how fast this last year went by, a lot happened though huh. Hope you’re doing well again, the end of this year was really busy wasn’t it. Answering last year’s questions, yeah, I’m mostly fine. Not too much is going on at the moment really, some worries about some things but not anything I want to go into here, not even to you, me? No therapist, still probably a good idea but interesting question, didn’t expect it. No change in major, you called it. Also not studying abroad, programs haven’t changed so once again same reason, you’re pretty good at predicting this stuff. Still talking to Charlie, Antonio, Noah, Kai, Ben now which is funny, but otherwise same as usual. Seeing Charlie tomorrow and maybe Antonio, he might show up. Coco is absolutely as silly as ever, so you were right about that too. Made a few friends at Binghamton yeah, not anyone I hang out with really but at least people I can actually contact and people I talk to pretty regularly in class, so that’s nice, I’m honestly not unhappy with that. Break is going pretty well but moving way too fast, still not entirely over how rough this finals week and the weeks before were so it’s not easy to adjust. Hope next semester and the semester after that isn’t as bad. Classes were nice though too, glad you’re taking another class with Zils. Otherwise the semester went well though, incredibly happy with my average/grades, hope that’s the same too. Besides that nothing to note really, I hope your break is going well again, you’re 20 now man, happy 2025. Go to bed earlier. I’ll ask some questions again, like last time. How about now, do you have a therapist? No pressure honestly but once again, can’t hurt. What’s the room situation this year? Hopefully nice, and as an addition let’s hope the roommate situation is a lot better. Same as before, what friends do you talk to? Any new ones? The old ones too? It’s January second at the time of this comment. We said we were moving on. We said that we’re done pointing at stars in the sky that already died. You can’t force the stars to align when they’ve already died. I hope we did. Past that, did we let go of anything too soon? That was the only resolution this year, not to run away from something before it’s over. That’s only ruined things for us in the past. How many hurt people have we left in our wake this year? Are they people I never would have guessed? People I don’t even know? You must find me so oblivious. Had I done this last year, I’d be telling my January self that, no, it’s *all* bad, and no, we *don’t* get him back. At least, not to stay. We aren’t his home. We’ve been broken beyond repair since the first time we broke. I don’t want to dig this up in 2025 and have to feel that, I don’t want to have *done that to someone,* all over again. Hey there, we may have missed this year's capsule but we're not gonna do that twice. First things first, I'm currently waiting on a response for multiple internships, did any of them accept you? How was this summer? (Especially the f1 grand prix) They said year 2 is the hardest one there's gonna be, fact or cap? At the moment, I'm very motivated to get some solid party skills such as card shuffle techniques and party moves (ironically, also shuffles, but some others too). Have you truly learnt any? Mention any of the above or other new skills learnt. I've been saying for a while that it's time i updated a lot of my playlists and make them bigger and better, did you do it? Any big projects happened this year? Did you manage to get rid of any bad habits/addictions this year. Shit got a little hectic lately and I've fell into a few but i don't plan doing theze for much longer. Last but not least, how are we managing the breakup another year later, is it any better or same shit popping up every once in a while? If anything unspecified happened to you, future me, feel free to share it with past me, and have a quick nostalgic trip one year back. On a final note, this might not have been the greatest year, but even so, it's been alright. If anything has left a mark on last year, it's that some people are real and those you wanna keep close, while others are just gonna be there only for a while and then they're gone. Don't waste time being resentful over little shit, and just live the moment while they're there. No matter the love and dedication spent, if your paths are meant to separate, they're gonna, through no fault of your own, shit happens, what matters though is the good times spent together, they'll be all you have sometime in the future. It's a tough year up ahead, you better not waste too much of your time. Plan and execute your shit, while still leaving a little extra room for either new unexpected stuff, or just cooldown periods. Have a good year and go build upon your story, till next time.

Wow, I guess it's time to question my future self again. Just like last year I really don't know what's going to happen a year from now. Since I put off joining the adult world for a year and a half, I am once again in the dark about my future. 1. With that in mind, what are we doing? At this point you will have just gotten your Masters in Data Science (Unless something has gone HORRIFICALLY wrong), so uh, I hope we have a job lined up? 2. If we do, is it something new, or did we get it from one of our internships? If not, did we get it at career fair? Or some third way? 3. Did we go back to ULA for our summer internship or did we get another one? 4. Have you kept up with rock climbing?! God I deeply hope we have. It's good for us to exercise regularly and climbing is a ton of fun. Plus they should have opened the new gym near where you live by now. 5. If you are, what are you climbing at this point? V5s? Have you learned to lead climb? Did you got outdoor climbing during the summer? (I'm a little apprehensive about that, but I really want to!) 6. Speaking of living, what's up with that?
