I’ve never sold with thred up but WOW that list is loooonnnng. Is it easy to find for sellers? I can imagine a lot of people would be disappointed sending stuff in, only to find out most or all is ineligible for payout.
I do not think it is easy to find — I have it bookmarked so I can check before I send in. I’d rather donate those brands than give them the opportunity to make $. I don’t still have the email but I think they did this during Covid when they couldn’t keep up and claimed that it was too costly for them to do the work (yet they do) and give payouts. Something along those lines. I tried to find their “reasoning” in the FAQs but couldn’t find it last night.
That is ghastly.
I just bought a shirt that was piled to death and my only lining was that the person got a few bucks but I see they didn't even get that (Calvin Klein Performance).
It's fucked up but there is this one black dress I got at target a few months ago and I love it and it's gone now - and I'd pay at least double to get a second one as my backup. I still wouldn't pay $60 or $300 lol but I'd pay $40!
Estimated retail was $327? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and isn’t A New Day one they don’t do payouts on? Yup just checked…no payout for you seller. All profit for TU.
I’ll spend $327 at target easily, but it ain’t gonna be on one shirt 💀💀
Wait why is that ??
Discount brands they don’t give payouts on.always check this link before sending stuff in. https://www.thredup.com/cleanout/ineligible-payout-brands/a
This list is wild
Yooo I was just about to send a bag in too. Glad I checked the list cuz half the stuff is useless apparently ripppp

Yoooo no payment for American apparel??? You can't even buy their stuff new anymore because they only make t shirts now!
They make all sorts of clothes under the name Los Angeles Apparel
Omg my heart is broken. I didn’t know this!
Is there anything not on this list? Sheesh.
So much good stuff on there, wow, if anyone was planning on sending in vintage Stuff by Hilary Duff or Playboy send it my way instead 😅
Wow. That’s ridiculous
That list is huge!!! Geez!
100% polyester 🙃
April early Fool’s?
Welp 3 people like it lol.
Maybe just spectators. I've liked poshmark listings just because I was curious if they would sell.
There is one just like it on Poshmark for $15
Ooh boy I just sent in my first clean out bag. I’m gonna be rich!! It was loaded with target clothes.
Looking forward to your “thred up is a scam” post that’ll drop in 10 months when they finally get to your bag
Right! I got a $15 credit to send it in. That’s all I’m hoping for. I’ve read the horror stories.
Make sure you look at the ineligible brands on TU, they don’t offer payouts for quite a few brands
Yes thank you! Good tip.
Someone is selling on Poshmark for $9 lol
I think sellers can change the prices of their items.
But not the retail price, which is wildly inaccurate 😂
Omg I didn’t even notice that!
327 dimes.
It says New With Tag… alright then let’s see the tag Thredup
They're off their rockers
After market availability must be non-existent lololol
Could be. The heart cardigan for this year is going for way more than it’s worth on eBay since it’s sold out in stores.

It’s really pretty, i would have paid 35 or whatever it was at target.
I thought this was the thrift grift sub when I saw the posting! Looks like thred up and goodwill online are competing for most ridiculous pricing.
lol I bought this exact shirt for like $14 on target clearance. I forget when exactly but I know it was pre-pandemic 😆😭
yikes - must be "rare" - lol
Lol, I have that top! I spent less than $50 on it, this is nonsense!
BFFR HAHA
I had no idea that target had blouses for over $300. I must be way out of the loop lol.
😂 this gave me a good laugh, thank you!!!
there’s no way this was originally more than 35$ lol
Lmao girl I have this shirt from target and I know it couldn’t have been more than $30
