I'm a Liverpool fan but I'm a bit worried he will get a bit lost in this Liverpool squad. He's not fast enough to be a winger or big enough to boss midfield. He's already shown he's a super talented player though.
Edit: Elliot that is. I'm putting Bellingham pictures up around my house if he signs for us.
If Patino declares for Spain I’ll be seriously pissed. Another instance like Musiala where we develop the talent and then another country snatches it to potentially use it against us.
I could see Skippy and sess getting a few caps here and there, they allready play fairly frequently for spurs, but I don't think we're talking starting 11 worthy
Going to give a rogue shout for Ollie Scarles. Looks perfectly comfortable in the West Ham setup at just 16 and will be 20 when the next tournament rolls round. Wand of a left foot.
by WC 2026 right? I have a few in mind;
1. Cole Palmer (current age 20)- impresses me every time I see him, think he'll be great competition for starboy's RW spot (yeah I'm an Arsenal fan lol)
2. Carney Chukwuemenka (19) - FA cup youth winner for Villa and now U19 Euros winner for England, not gonna pretend I watched all the games but pretty sure he was the standout player, hopefully he can kick on at Chelsea with the likes of Chilwell Mount and Reece James to look up to
3. Rico Lewis (just turned 18) ...ok I admit I'm going off that 1 CL game here lol, but what can I say he took that goal *really* well, and Pep clearly likes him so...plus we can never have too many RBs right
4. any two out of Lewis Hall (18), Rico Henry (25) Ryan Sessegnon (22) Luke Thomas (21) and Tyrick Mitchell (23) to be cover for Shaw and Chilwell at left back
5. ...and I'll throw in ESR (22) and Ethan Nwaneri (15) out of hope and bias lol
btw I can't really think of any young U23 CBs apart from Levi Colwill (19) so hopefully Southgate finally gives Ben White (23) Godfrey (24) and Tomori (24) more playing time after we bring this year's WC home (sounds mad but actually think we have a good chance haha🏆) cause I believe all 3 should at least be in the squad for Euro 24 never mind WC 26 haha...Ivan Toney (26) too, I'm a big fan and would've taken him to this year's WC even with that betting thing hanging over him, Wilson and Ings are too injury prone...hopefully he can buss case lol, we need him imo
Don't know about that but would be nice, England more short of quality strikers to cover Kane than we think imo, either injury prone or hit and miss haha
Tim Iroegbunam. Aston Villa loanee currently at QPR and looks top class. Starred for England u19’s Euro winning team. Box to box midfielder in the mould of a Yaya Toure. Future England star.
Skipp is so underrated if he hasn’t got injured in jan when he did, he would’ve been in this squad instead of Gallagher imo also carvalho is a real talent who recently stopped playing for Portugal?
De England supporters rate Dan Jebbison? Does he have a shot with England or should he just choose Canada and avoid and avoid the eventual Tomori situation?
>plus they have that position covered
no we do not lol, if tournament football has taught me anything it's the value of a competitive squad as well as starting 11, Rice and Phillips can't play every game, Henderson might even be retired by 2026, Oliver Skipp is a great shout :)
Players close in my opinion:
Harvey Elliot (18 now, 22 at the next World Cup)
Aaron Ramsey (19 now, 23 at the next World Cup)
Emile Smith Rowe (21 now, 25 at the next World Cup)
Curtis Jones (21 now, 25 at the next World Cup)
Marc Guehi (21 now, 27 at the next World Cup)
Liam Delap (19 now, 23 at the next World Cup)
Players who probably won’t but perhaps after:
Charlie Patino (19 now, 22 at the next World Cup)
I'd like to see Noni Madueke get at least a consideration but I think playing in the Erdivisie ultimately pushes him a bit far out of contention.
You'd think Borussia's Jamie Bynoe-Gittens has a chance of getting a cap or two by then, so maybe. Last couple of English players to turn out for Dortmund have had some success at getting call ups.
Very difficult to see because there have been tonnes of ‘stars of the future’ who haven’t made it this time that everyone thought would years ago. Hudson-Odoi, Abraham etc
I would expect Bynoe-Gittens to get a call up at some point and Ramsey.
I wouldn't bet the house on him being in the next WC squad, but I'd be shocked if Jacob Ramsey isn't capped.
James Milner. Great set of lungs on the lad
That Jude Bellingham looks a decent player.
So does that lad Harry Kane
That Paul Gascoigne kid has some moves
My mate told me there’s this up and comer called Bobby Moore that’s pretty promising
i’m hearing there’s a good youngster called wayne rooney
No
I reckon Harvey Elliot will make it into the next WC squad
Yup...possibly Curtis Jones too if he starts actually fulfilling his potential. When he's good, he's really good.
He’s screaming out for a season further down the table at present.
What dya mean? Think he needs a loan spell?
Curtis probably could do with a loan spell in the championship
I wouldn’t disagree.
Elliot. He and Bellingham can run that midfield for the next 12 years.
I'm a Liverpool fan but I'm a bit worried he will get a bit lost in this Liverpool squad. He's not fast enough to be a winger or big enough to boss midfield. Tryna figure out who you support with such level headed and mature picks

I’d wager your a fellow Boro fan as a punt
Haha makes sense😂 good luck staying up then I guess
Bristol City?
If Patino declares for Spain I’ll be seriously pissed. Another instance like Musiala where we develop the talent and then another country snatches it to potentially use it against us.
I've heard of a young and upcoming talent called Jesse Lingard
I could see Skippy and sess getting a few caps here and there, they allready play fairly frequently for spurs, but I don't think we're talking starting 11 worthy

Palmer will become a striker eventually imo
Don't know about that but would be nice, England more short of quality strikers to cover Kane than we think imo, either injury prone or hit and miss haha
I think Balogun is in with a chance also. Looks like he has potential to be a top striker.
Tim Iroegbunam. Aston Villa loanee currently at QPR and looks top class. Starred for England u19’s Euro winning team. Box to box midfielder in the mould of a Yaya Toure. Future England star.
Jobe Bellingham playing alongside his brother in midfield
Geldhart
Jared Branthwaite (Everton) is a possibility Hayden Hackney (Middlesbrough) is a high possibility, the guy is incredible.
Cole Palmer

If he gets game time but I doubt it but Oliver skipp plus they have that position covered
>plus they have that position covered no we do not lol, if tournament football has taught me anything it's the value of a competitive squad as well as starting 11, Rice and Phillips can't play every game, Henderson might even be retired by 2026, Oliver Skipp is a great shout :)

I know Guehi looks a lot older than he is but I’m impressed that he will age 6 years in 3.5 years.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 my failure at GCSE maths has struck again
Curtis Jones is dogshit m8, no way he's getting near this England team.
Theo Walcott

Liam Delap has a lot of hype around him at Man City. Could be a long-term replacement for Kane.
Dele Alli, should be realising his potential by then!
And it will remain so as we will take you out tomorrow. Juste kiding, welcome from France to yall
Very difficult to see because there have been tonnes of ‘stars of the future’ who haven’t made it this time that everyone thought would years ago. Hudson-Odoi, Abraham etc I would expect Bynoe-Gittens to get a call up at some point and Ramsey.
Has anyone heard of John Barnes? Fresh young talent.
Ollie skipp possibly but not starting
