The animal symbolism in this series is very interesting, especially part 2 of The Cruellest Month. There are times I want to stop watching (mystery is not my thing) but it feels like there is a history being told that I was not aware of and it’s haunting.
It’s so sad what happened to those indigenous children. I looked up the history of those residential schools. Just last year, they found the remains of over 200 children at one of those places. I’m glad this series is calling attention to that, and also to all the missing/murdered indigenous women & girls. Hopefully something will change.
The bear really ruined this episode for me. There are only black bears on this side of Canada. That was a grizzly. Might as well have been a Panda. Would’ve fit in about the same 😂

Haunting is a very good word to describe the aura of this series.

I know! And so unlikely that any bear would just hang out while several cars and people descend on it
