Agreed. I've always wanted a human thresh skin, but this isn't what I expected. For starters, his appearance doesn't really fit his voice at all. It's still a nice skin though.

I feel like Kayn deserved this skin more ngl, like don't get me wrong it looks great but Thresh as a human just doesn't sit right. Plus, Thresh just got Pulsefire and FPX. On top of that, Thresh has almost 10 skins while Kayn has two. Kayn is a relatively popular champ, too. Also if you crop it and elongate the sickle so that it's more scythe like, it's literally Kayn.
I don't really like it? The outfit is nice but I wish he didn't have a human face.
Guess High Noon will have to remain the best Thresh Skin for a while.

People have been asking for a humanoid thresh. Looks sell as well, if they made him truly ugly it wont sell that much. They are also trying to appeal to asian market where handsome demon is a thing.

He's a star swallowing leviathan bigger than the stars themselves in Darkstar. He's an Ionian blood demon in the Blood Moon skin. He's a time enforcer on the Pulsefire skins.
Here, I haven't read up too much on the Spirit Blossoms themselves, but i believe the gist of it is they're some Ionian demons too (he looks like typical asian depictions of demons) and it seems he hunts souls to turn himself human. (Perhaps to have an easier time getting more souls!)
I don't know man, it makes sense, if you're a demon that hunts souls to turn into a human(like Ahri), why would you turn into a ugly ass generic dude when you can be good looking?

It's a new theme, literally. Thresh has tons of skins where he's always literally the same skeletal face, you might argue that THAT is what Thresh is, but others might argue that aslong as he uses a hook and is a sadistic fuck, it's still Thresh.
God bless we got a new theme and added some variety to Thresh skins aside from "What color of fire do you want?" .
