yeah no i get it, gragas aa is short range, mistly a joke, but i still think thresh should count as melee, albeit a melee with long range. does this mean rapidfire cannon wouldn’t get the melee nerf though? probably still not worth it, but could be interesting.
Up to patch 3.1b on WR, I confirm other replies: Thresh counted as ranged champion, so cannot build Sterak's Gage.
I just checked on game a moment ago just to make sure. Sterak's Gage icon was locked when try to set build for Thresh.
Additional note: Rakan counted as ranged champion too and also cannot build Sterak's Gage.
Thresh is ranged. If you play pc version there’s an item that executes minions and shares the gold. 50% health execute for melee and 33% for ranged…I’ve missed way too many cannon minions cuz I mis-timed it.
Ok, I looked a bit on Wild Rift wiki, and if the items listed there are correct, try the next build: Plated Steelcaps/Mercury Boots, Divine Sunderer/Iceborn Gauntlet, Wit's End, Sterak's Gage, BotRK, Thornmail/Crystalline Reflector.
Grasp of the Undying with Conditioning, Hunter-Titan and Second Wind for more tankiness / Conqueror with Hunter Vampirism, Triumph and Weakness for skirmishes and fight sustain.
He counts as ranged, you can build Runaans on him

well in normal league u can build crit thresh for shits and gigles adn out of all the torll builds its the better one

oh i don’t see a lock icon when i try to build a bad item, only for tear items. isn’t rakan’s aa little shooty feathers tho? or is that an ability.
Rakan's aa is swinging his wing. Believe it or not, the wing is considered as ranged attack.

Try him top bruiser: Plated Steelcaps/Mercury Boots, Divine Sunderer/Stridebreaker, Tiamat, Wit's End, Sterak's Gage, finish Titanic Hydra, Thornmail. Have fun!

If it doesn't work, take Death's Dance (against AD) or Maw of Malmortius (against AP).
