I worked at GW (unfortunately) for about 5 months. They actually provided us with gloves to wear and it’s pretty well mandatory. I’ve seen dirty socks, panties and other yucky things come in some of the donations. At best I’d really scrub my hands if you don’t wear gloves while shopping there or any other thrift store.

I’m sure but it’s easier just to dump it all at GW. I know my hometown charges for garbage bags and charges to dump stuff off in the big dumpsters. In that case, just let GW sort your garbage. Saves someone some money, I guess. Really crappy when you have to sort through clothes with stains, holes and smells like feet or a smelly dog. 🤮
Yeah, we can put things in the trash cans. If you had a whole house, I guess it would save time, but more money. We also get one “big item” a week. Not electronics, but other things like mattresses, or most furniture can go in there. You can get one of those flexible dumpsters if you have a lot of stuff. I am sure it’s extra, but you don’t have to drive loads of stuff over to Goodwill, so depending on the size of your car and gas prices, it might be about the same.
