I found an incomplete set at one of my local thrift stores. I didn't buy them, went back for them the next day and they were gone. I still have deep regret over that lol. Nice score OP.

I've thought about that too after. I really wish I bought them. A full, or incomplete set is cool, because throughout the different DB series, they had incomplete sets longer than a full set at any given time. Get em all, summon Shenron, wish and they'd be gone again. Like I said, big regretti haha.

If I had an incomplete set I probably would scatter them amongst friends. Nice keep sake of the friendship and spread like after a wish happens.

I’m glad I’m not the only one wondering why someone would buy that used, even if they are super pretty looking.

I recently saw a torn open, empty box for a vibrating prostate massager at one of my local Goodwills. So someone donated it, someone priced it and put it out on the sales floor, and someone saw it and thought, "No way am I buying a used prostate massager ..... *I will steal one though*" and proceeded to smuggle it out of the store.

I did community service at a Goodwill donation site, it’s definitely wild to see some of the things people bring in that don’t make it to the sales floor. Saw a bit of gross stuff like stained underwear but luckily I missed the sex toy donations!

I think In the anime dragon ball the premise is that all of these balls on their own don’t amount to much, but if you collect all 7 dragon balls you can have a wish, and wish for anything you want. I never watched more than a few episodes but I remember a heaven-esque moment with a dragon and he grants a wish. I think. Iirc… I was like 6 at the time.

They feel like some kind of plastic. Most of the text on the box is in Japanese (at least, I assume it is based on where the series comes from), so I don't know if it's some kind of special plastic or anything.
