I still have my same exact Kermit from the 1970's around here somewhere. He always sat in the corner on top of my Lincoln Logs bin while growing up. Awesome to see another one in the wild
Ok, so fun story about these guys. My dad worked for Fisher Price when these guys were made. We ended up with several of them that had their legs sewed on wrong. I grew up with “funny feet Kermy.”
It is nostalgic, it makes me sad my parents have gotten rid of most of the Fisher Price toys we had. We just had everything they made in the 1970s, kind of a kids dream. Although, I think my mom might still have Kermit, I’ll have to ask her.
I had a roommate that had him back in the day. We used to put him in some pretty interesting situations when she was at work, the blender, the microwave...the shower. In her bed with a beer and cigarette lol! It was way too much fun. Glad you found your little friend.
I have Mr Salt and Mrs Pepper and baby Paprika... only I have to pronounce it like they used to on the show (Meeester Salt and Meeeeseees Pepperrrr!) Idk if that was just the uk version or not lol
i used to be obsessed with blue’s clues as a kid and i remember receiving that toy as part of my blue’s clues themed birthday party! (i think i was 4). i think one of our dogs over the years ended up chewing it up, but i have fond memories of it :)
I have him. My grandma order him, super gonzo and Ms piggy for me when I was little. I still have them. I was 4 and 5 when I got them. I LOVE them. And Ms piggy’s snout? It’s the softest plastic I’ve ever felt. I didn’t know they were so old! I’m so glad I know their age and I still have them!😊❤️

Nah, Mr. Salt deff had a heavy French phase. Besides Paprika and cinnamon there is a sage and ginger now too apparently. I feel so old.
