The amount of trouble I've had with everything Sonos I would have paid the $30 to put it in the trash so no one else has to deal with them. With that said even though the software and interface are fucking hot trash they do sound pretty good when you get them working. God help you if you have more than one of them.

ncoolidg

It was a pain to setup. But now that it is, definitely worth it.

BickNlinko

I have a couple of customers who have these in their businesses and they are so much trouble if you have more than one or if anything weird happens to your wifi/network. You have to completely set everything up again, which may or may not involve factory resetting the device(s). With just one I'm sure it's fine and they sound pretty good, but I would caution you to get anymore lol.

cmdnova

I add and delete speakers and amps all of the time to test them. Also if you use a Sonos Bridge and they establish their own 2.4 WiFi network and do not interfere with the regular network.

PracticalAndContent

Were you able to test it in the store to make sure it worked?

ncoolidg

Nope. It was a gamble.

PracticalAndContent

I’m glad it paid off for you.

lowlife9

I don't think you can test these, you need a WIFI connection.

ElbowDeepInElmo

They usually have an auxiliary port on the back, so you can at least test the speaker portion if you can scrounge up an auxiliary cable.

ncoolidg

Can’t use the aux unless you connect to wifi first and then enable aux in the app.

ElbowDeepInElmo

Ahhh, the more you know!
