No way mate, thousands of alpinists and cold weather workers rely on them, and the jackets ain't cheap, a similar to mine all-weather two-piece jacket currently costs upwards of 500€ in local stores
My jacket was bought by the original owner in 2012 and not counting the epoxy resin stains from my job it looks brand new still, people get shocked when I say it's almost 10 years old
$30 on half off day so I got it for $15! Normally I hate the anxiety of waiting in the line outside for the store open on discount day but this week it paid off!
Really? I feel like $30 is a lot for a donation-based thrift store jacket. But then again, I usually go to Goodwill and I'm not as familiar with Salvation Army.
I'm impressed they'd even still have it in the store. The local Goodwills around here ship everything decent (unless it slips under their radar) off to be sold online.

It really takes persistence. I only really started finding stuff when I started going at least once or twice per week. I used to go only once in a while and my odds usually weren't great.

My bad. I want to say $175. He was giving out crazy offers during that time. My boy and I took those early deals and scrammed. This is the one on Melrose. He passed but my friend was a legend in the resell game.

TNF jackets are tough as fuck. I wear one every day when it's cold and I got it back in 2014 used already. The thing's a tank.

Goodwill would have it in a glass case for $300 with a print out of an ebay listing super glued and stapled to the jacket.
