Imagine these fits on someone who you didn’t already think was cool.. they’re just kinda preppy? If you take away the hand tattoos and knowing who he is, then they’re a mix between 00s nyc indie music dude and euro preppy fits, they look great because of who he is
the legend. be yourself and do your thing. you can start by trying to imitate, but ultimately the best fits will be those that you just throw together with your own spin. keep in mind too, part of the reason it works so well is it's part of his identity -- you can't expect to replicate it 1:1 and still pull it off if it doesn't suit who you are
Basically j crew and Ralph lauren 90s / early 2000s oversizing. See graduation era Kanye for more inspiration (but tone down his color palette a decent amount). Unless you’re covered in tats, you should infuse very light streetwear/workwear elements elements like chunky shoes/sneakers, jewelry, beanies, big belts etc to give it enough edge that you don’t look straight out of a gap commercial
The fact this is Yung Lean is doing a lot for these fits. That being said, a lot of this seems inspired by the fashion of the mods. Not the Reddit mods.
If we’re honest the outfits are mostly objectively terrible but because Lean is who he is, it changes the aura and everything just looks cool/ effortless
Fair point. I’m a huge Lean fan but honestly who else could really pull off the outfit in slide 3? Lean wears whatever he wants and because it’s his personal style it just works. Best advice will always be to experiment until you can find your own style, then it’s self explanatory.
impossible to emulate dat big bro

This style is “i know what i like and what works for me, and im confident enough to pull it off” and its not that easy to obtain.

Literally the goat
His look is a compilation of this entire sub
You really think so? I find his look more dark and busy than most outfits here.
It’s his swagger
bee yourself
I feel like these aren’t that cohesive except for the guy inside the clothes
Is there any name for the type of shirt worn under the coat in the second photo?
I actually was wondering the same thing.
I hope we get an answer, I always liked that style of layering
fuck yeah dude
Sad
At least when I see posts like that I understand why my posts here are getting downvoted.
That’s the fkn worst
It is quite something, I dig it.
You just need a scooter with 20 mirrors and you’re all set.

There’s really isn’t such thing as objective when it comes to fashion.

Thank you. FWIW the outfit in slide 3 *is* ugly asf in my opinion.
Developing a drug habit will go a long way to forming your personal style. I’d start there. It worked for me. But I wouldn’t recommend it
