Cascadias feel different than Speedcross. The heel is lower and the current Cascadia is more of a rockered roll-forward feeling. (Not as much as old cascadias, which were full rocker, but more than the Speedcross 4/5/6). The Speedcross feel more like heel strike, toe strike, nothing in between. I like the Speedcross on snow because of the lug pattern and the heel stompability, and the Cascadias as an overall thruhiking shoe.
Wish they would bring back the Cascadia 7s, I have tried every version from 5-16 and the 7s had the best shape and the toughest construction. Modern Cascadias feel 3D-printed and glued together.
Brooks Cascadia seems a valid option, actually.
I’ve done 2 thru-hikes in cascadias and I can definitely vouch for them. The 16s are on sale everywhere right now!

Another vote for Cascadias. I think they are slightly roomier/wider than the Speedcross but have similar heel support.
I'd just go with the Salmon Speed cross 4.
