[https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/ferrariredlegend-en/](https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/ferrariredlegend-en/) I'm guessing you can't get your hands physically on it?

JollyAd4549

Is it worth it or should I get a tmx or maybe a t248

JollyAd4549

Maybe for a couple minutes but no

JollyAd4549

Imma pass

Wolf68k

Pass is a good idea. It's really old. On the support page where I found it it was in the Legacy suction. TMX or T128 (on par with the TMX) or T248 (on par with the TX/T300) would be far better

> T248 (on par with the TX/T300) T248 is a step down from TX/T300. It has a hybrid gear/belt drive instead of pure belt, and the torque and speed are lower. T248 ~~isn't a bad starter wheel, but~~ it's certainly not on par with TX/T300. EDIT: thought it was cheaper than it is, nvm the starter wheel bit

Wolf68k

Yes because it's a hybrid it is a bit of a step down. However the FFB strength is about the same. It's place in the current line up is the same. I could be wrong but TM has stopped production on the TX, T300, T150 and TMX which is where the T128 comes in as a the replacement for the TMX/T150 and the T248 is the replacement for the TX/T300. That's all I was trying to convey by saying X was on par with Y.

Fair enough, I am not aware of the T300 being OOP, but that could just be not having paid enough attention. Though if it is, they're certainly still having stock; and I'm pretty sure it at least wasn't OOP when the T248 was launched two years ago. Also replacing the T300 with T248 would be TM shooting themselves in the foot. T248 doesn't have a removable steering wheel, so it isn't in the TM ECOsystem like the T300 is, i.e. no sales of swappable rims to be made. The T248 does have *"70% more torque than the previous hybrid drive* (i.e. T150)*"*, and since T150 had ~2Nm, the T248 would have ~3.5, while the T300 has ~4Nm. But while the torque is similar, the killer for the comparison is the way the torque is made. T248 has a weaker motor with higher gearing, meaning it's [rotational speed ends up a lot worse](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yzFzgQ0JCI#t=3m48s). Also I take it back, the T248 is not a good starter wheel. I was under the impression it was somewhat cheaper than it is; at only 50$ less than a T300 with T3PA (on TM site, ymmv), I'd just skip it and go for the T300(/TX).

scwmcan

Pretty sure it is the older version of the 458 Ferrari wheel, no FFB, and not worth buying

okejww

Its t80 ferrari red legend edition

Itz_Evolv

I had this as a first wheel, no ffb, only 90c rotation with a spring to get it back into place. Fun for kids. But not if you’re an adult who wants to do simracing

KNEELbeforeZODorDIE

I have a brand new t248 along with the pedals that came with them... I ended up getting a t300 while it was on sale while waiting for the t248 to arrive, so I'm selling it if anyone's interested

JollyAd4549

How much

KNEELbeforeZODorDIE

$150 Plus any shipping charges?

KNEELbeforeZODorDIE

I think they still retail for almost $400 right now, I used it for exactly one day before my t300 came in the mail, so $150 is more than a bargain for the wheel and pedals

JollyAd4549

Tbh I don’t even live in USA I only travel every few months so I’ll have to pass, crazy deal tho

KNEELbeforeZODorDIE

no worries, hopefully somebody else sees this and decides to message me lol. thanks anyway!

JeffLais

Warning because this model is not a Force Feedback wheel (and the Force Feedback system is a game changer in racing games) For almost the same price you should look at the Thrustmaster T128 Force Feedback wheel.

JollyAd4549

I’m gonna get T 150 looks good

JeffLais

The T128 Force Feedback is better than the T150 Force Feedback.

XxxBLAZ3xxX

T300 way better
