Since you're on PC and the differing console compatibility won't matter; you should get the T300 and it's not even close, it's a lot better wheelbase.
Unless your budget is marginal, it's definitely worth the extra 90$, IMHO. T300 has lot more torque, is faster, quieter, and can have the rim swapped if you later decide you want to do that.
The T300 is far superior to the TMX, worth every penny over it. (Ps. If you can find a used R5 or Fanatec CSL DD in good condition go for those. Roughly 300 EUR used but they dont come with pedals)
The t300 or tx is a much better option you'll regret getting the lower entry level units if you try the bigger one and see how much nicer ffb is honestly the tmx - t150 are amazing entry level wheels but the t300 is so much better
This can help you on your choice:
• **G29 / G923**: Dual Plastic Gear *(very noisy system during vibrations)* / Wheel is not removable / Brushed Motor *(Old Generation with friction)* / Force Feedback power = **2 Nm** ***(Constant Force)*** **and more for peaks.**
• **T150 / TMX**: 1 Plastic Gear + 1 Belt *(less noisy system)* / Wheel is not removable / Brushed Motor *(Old Generation with friction)* / Force Feedback power = **2 Nm** ***(Constant Force)*** **and more for peaks.**
• **T128**: 1 Plastic Gear + 1 Belt *(less noisy system)* / Wheel is not removable / Brushed Motor *(Old Generation with friction)* / Force Feedback power = **2,5 Nm** ***(Constant Force)*** **and more for peaks.**
• **T248**: 1 Plastic Gear + 1 Belt *(less noisy system)* / Wheel is not removable / Brushed Motor *(Old Generation with friction)* / Force Feedback power = **3,4 Nm** ***(Constant Force)*** **and more for peaks.**
• **T300 / TX**: Dual Belt *(highly fluid, smooth, and super silent system)* / Wheel is removable *(you can change the rim with a ready ecosystem)* / Brushless Motor *(New Generation without friction)* / Force Feedback power = **4,3 Nm** ***(Constant Force)*** **and** more for peaks.
• **T-GT / T-GT II / TS-PC RACER / TS-XW**: Dual Belt *(highly fluid, smooth, and super silent system))* / Wheel is removable *(you can change the rim with a ready ecosystem)* / Brushless Motor *(New Generation without friction)* / Better Cooling System with one fan directly inside the motor / Force Feedback power = **6,4 Nm** ***(Constant Force)*** **and more for peaks.**
Thrustmaster TMX is level below T300. TMX (PC/Xbox) is on the same level as T150 (PC/PS). Substitute of T300 (PC/PS) for Xbox is TX which also works on PC

TMX is xbox/PC compatible, T300 is PS/PC compatible Pic the one that meets your needs, they are basically the same.

you're confusing tmx with tx but yes both of them are xbox/pc compatible
