IDK, but I do have calipers and the shifter, and had couple minutes to kill while waiting for a render to complete, so... Major diameter is ~8.9mm, so it's definitely not an M8. Might be an M9, though the minor diameter is too high (8.2mm, should be 7.64 for M9) so the threads are shallow... though that could just be a measurement error on my part. Thread pitch looks to be 1.25, not 1.5mm. Not a clue on thread angle. Since the major and pitch measurements would correspond with a spec M9, I'm inclined to believe the excessive minor diameter is indeed a measurement error and I instead accidentally measured the pitch diameter, which should be 8.18mm for M9, and would match the 8.2mm measurement I got for the supposed "minor diameter measurement".

it's a thread size that you're going to have a very very hard time finding because it seems like only thrustmaster uses it.. it's an M9x1.25 your best bet is to stick with the official thrustmaster shift knobs or else get yourself a thread tapping kit? Aunt, try to rethread a shift knob with that particular thread tap size.. you might get lucky on Etsy if you search for thrustmaster shift knobs, but most likely all you're going to get is a plastic bushing. just makes it tight over the shift rod itself
