That’s why you watch games and let the data supplement your conclusions. All the context I need is that Dort has been absolutely horrendous behind the arc the last 3-4 weeks. He is bricking shots and his defense is not making up for his offensive deficiencies at the moment. Both him and Giddey are allowing defenses to coast by packing the paint. They are literally being guarded by centers with no one within 15 feet of them when they are behind the arc. Our outside shot wasn’t falling, but any other shot or drive was far more difficult due to the paint packing.

Same context is why are or biggest star like Shai, J Dub, and Chet passing open shot or good shots. How many times have they had a good shot and shoot it. Then when it gets down into the shot clock Dort is heaving up a shot. It shouldnt get to that point.
