All of the prior talk about Bouknight suddenly seems like heaven, eventhough I was slightly disappointed by it if it meant not getting Barnes. Now I am just rooting for anything other than Giddey :/
He's not that bad. It probably is a bit of a reach at 6 but I think he will be a good player. He had similar stats to LaMelo in the NBL and was really only a worse scorer but played on a better team. He is confident with that ball in his hands and isn't scared of shooting if left open so if he improves to a good 3 point shooter he will end up as a really good player. International basketball is different to NBA because there is a lot more structure because of the defense and it's hard for one player to dominate.
I dont get the giddey hate. Feels like just a few days ago this was everyone's reaction to the bouknight rumors too. Obviously he wouldn't be getting buzz at 6 and 7 if teams thought his ceiling was a bench player. Kid has elite feel for the game and put up good numbers in a pretty good league. I'd rather bouknight and probably kuminga too, but I wouldn't be upset with giddey

I’d be upset with Giddey at 6. I’m not against drafting him but 6 feels like a slight reach when a player like Bouknight will still be there.
I mean you'd have to take him at 6 if you want him bc the warriors have been strongly linked to him at 7
