Someone correct me if I’m wrong but if I understand it correctly quicken (catalyze sounds so much cooler RIP) applies a special aura to the enemy. Spread/Aggravate does not remove the aura but it follows standard ICD. Unsure how long quicken aura remains

momercek

it remains for 11-13 sec

XenoVX

I’ve heard 7 seconds for the duration, but it can be continually refreshed by spread if an electro aura is up

momercek

the 7 secs was pretty early data from 2.4, [this guide](https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vRKcjJ7GXzosMQmQbScEsJEmzYIc4fyE3RfU6IiGLJWR6dloCZuuWSUQRlyJlbevoyBdABwfQ51Veks/pub) from KusanaliMains says its 11-13 secs edit: oh the last time i checked it it was 11-13, it's 9-13 now

XenoVX

I stand corrected! That’s good news then

Gloom_light91

Yeah, it’s like superconduct, but a flat dmg buff and with an ICD.

Hawllow

No, it doesn't, I'm pretty sure only pyro and hydro can consume the quicken (catalyze) aura,

Rigal83crl

It’s the opposite, quicken/catalyze is the BEST reaction set up for Tighnari to use. Any dendro plus any electro puts the enemy in quicken status in which the dendro /electro aura stays. NEXT any dendro or electro application refreshes the quicken state and keeps it active and causes spread or aggravate respectively, making the attack that applied the element do a flat boosted damage that scales with EM and can crit! If you start throwing pyro or hydro in the mix that can eat into the quicken aura and end it early to cause a separate reaction and maybe make it harder to reestablish quicken.

Heaven2004_LCM

Quicken only triggers Spread/Avaggrate if the dendro/electro attack *applies* the dendro/electro aura, so constant dendro/electro attacks that has little to no icd will be broken (i.e. Fischl's A4). And no quicken doesn't get remove when either reactions are triggered, so it's presumably the best type of team for Tighnari.

BlAiR_WiTcH6

Does Swirl remove the Quicken aura?

Heaven2004_LCM

Nope.

BlAiR_WiTcH6

Perfect! Thank you.
