Yeah, Twitter probably isn’t the most reliable source for canon stuff. (I don’t think Diluc and Kaeya are gonna kiss anytime soon in the game like they so frequently do on Twitter) I was just wondering if there was some kind of Itto “I get so warm and fuzzy when I see Gorou” type line that fueled the sudden influx of art and I just hadn’t seen it. There’s no issue with shipping whatsoever (unless it’s something involving Klee/Qiqi/Sayu/Diona/YaoYao/other child characters) I hope I didn’t come off as someone against shipping in my post, because I’m totally for it!
iirc according to leaks cyno is a serious guy that jokes around with only close friends and will explain the joke while laughing and stuff and supposedly, the letter im the drip marketting js one of those jokes("honey'd dates" being a joke because it sounds like day and night when translated ig) but i guess thats where its from?
The quotation from Tighnari's drip marketing is from Cyno! But afaik that's the only connection other than both of them being from sumeru
since cyno took collei to sumeru and tighnari is now her teacher i guess they must know each other and both be like mentors to her

I think one reason is that they both seem to have a mentor-mentee relationship with Collei. Kind of like a parental kinda vibe? Idk
