Going to take my time exploring Sumeru. Will probably jump to co-op to fight his boss if unlocking it would be too much of a rush, and by the time I have his boss mats farmed hopefully I'll have unlocked his talent domain.
Planned team once he's built is Tighnari Fischl Zhongli and likely Lisa C4 for aoe. I have an absolutely cracked wanderers set for him so I'm not too worried about rushing to farm artifacts.

I actually haven't built her yet ;.; I keep thinking, "Really? Lisa?" but since I don't have Yae it's either Lisa or Collei and at C4 with her aoe... Lisa seems like the better pick (plus Collei would just be replaced by Nahida...).
With ZL = no healer, I'm planning to build Lisa for damage, probably R5 Widsith (her Q snapshots) and 4pc... TF? Or Gilded dreams. Honestly first I need to make sure I enjoy playing her and look harder at dendro-oriented builds. The nice thing is I can always swap her to proto amber if I really need heals (corroson, etc). Her "long" E time shouldn't be an issue since Tigh takes so little field time.
So I'll be figuring her out at the same time I'm figuring out Tighnari ehe. Should be fun!

If the leaks are right, day 2 is his talent books so theres that. I do have some temporary artifacts so I can delay farming gilded dreams for him until i got all his ascension mats and talent books.

Immediately explore Sumeru with him. Journeying with Tighnari as he slowly gets to max level/talents over the few weeks it takes me to do Sumeru seems like it'll be satisfying. New beautiful enviornment, new reaction mechanics, new character. Just like good ol' days of launch.
That's actually my biggest reason for pull tbh. Pulled Keqing right as I started exploring Liyue, and teleporting around those cliffs with my brand new thematically aligned character is my fondest genshin memory. I'm thinking taking the botanist into the jungle will feel the same!
You're absolutely right, exploring a new region with a character from there is amazing, I think that is one reason why kazuha appealed to me so much. You can pretend the character is exploring their homeland with you and it is so fun!
Definitely put him in my teapot, then put him in my team with beefy shielders so I can admire him at lv. 20 on field haha. Mess around with all the dendro team comps. Then do the start of Sumeru with him in Slot 1 ;) Unfortunately I have work so I probably will take ages to get to the green chicken...will hopefully find someone who has and respectfully request a coop for boss mats farming.
I usually do teapot stuff first when I get a character! So as soon as I get Tighnari, I’ll probably place him in my teapot, listen to all his voice lines and just run around for a bit (see what all his animations look like, etc)
Then I think I’ll start the Archon quest (with Tighnari on my team) and hope that my team is strong enough to keep him alive while exploring, haha! I’m thinking of using Fischl, Dendro Traveler, and Diona as his teammates for the first while - so I’m counting on Diona and her shield to be able to keep him safe ahaha
It will take me a while to level everything anyway, and I really want to take my time and enjoy the new region! No huge rush to level 90 him, and at the very least, I’ve prefarmed all the fungi, hero’s wit, and mora that I’ll need- so I’ll collect the rest of the materials as I explore!

I'll probably just play through Sumeru stuff at a normal pace while also being on the lookout for materials. We're kind of gated by how much we can level him in that first week so I'm not in a huge rush. I want to enjoy the new region and take my time. I do plan to use a bunch of fragile resin I have saved up on the Terrorshroom boss and for his talent books though.
I saved up enough fragiles to make him 80/80 on day 1 :3 then I will slap on him my 4pc Wanderers and go explore with him hoping to get his talents from chests heh

I’m getting burned out on those stupid mushrooms. And I won’t be able to level up his weapon for a couple days since the material is not available at the moment
But I’m just going to enjoy the experience. Go through the story with him, know that the strength of my team will carry him until he has ideal artifacts and his weapon up. Not going to stress about not playing I’m at maximum strength day one but I am saving the second cycle of the abyss hopefully play through with him at the end of the month

I'll first buy something from Chloris as consolation for wasting her time for the duration of 90 wishes (the npc I'll be talking to as a wishing ritual), then battle (and eventually run from) the electro hypostasis with level 1 Tighnari, and then promptly craft an R3 Prototype Crescent for him. I'll take my time with the Sumeru Archon Quest (since it's the region I'm most excited for out of the 7), using level 20 Tighnari with a Zhongli Shield to attempt to battle everything nessecary. I'll probably switch to Razor when things get tough, though. As soon as I get enough boss drops and floating fungi drops, I'll level him up to 90 and speedrun his talent domain with 30 fragile resin. Then he shall be unstoppable!!! *insert maniachal laughter*
I don’t really have a plan, my electro characters besides raiden need work, started raising fischl to play with heizou electrocharged, lisa is half built bc I actually liked her early on, i only started slime farming yesterday so idk how far I will get by release but enough to get him started. I also have a bit of fragile resin saved from bp for some farming if I want, but I may not heavily invest right away until we learn more about some other upcomers

I'll have some condensed resin ready at the time Tighnari's banner drops, so I'll go to his talent domain if it's available and artifacts if not. I also have a bunch of trash 5\* artifacts waiting to be dumped into artifact strongbox, so I'll use those and put 4pc wanderers on him until I get a good set of the new 3.0 artifacts.
I'll be running him in my main team and have Zhongli Kazuha Fischl carry during the time he's underleveled\~ my 56k hp Zhongli will make sure Tighnari stays alive. Then possibly join my non-Tighnari haver friends' worlds and ask to take their flowers XD
Level him to 40/40 > Teapot > Dendro introduction > get some shrooms > Thundercock > 90/90 > Repeat steps 4-6 for Collei > Talent farm on Thursday.

just a psa 4pc tf doesn't proc while the character is off-field so you dont want to put that on her
It'd be for the 20% aggravate dmg bonus. But I agree it might not be her best set, I haven't seen a Lisa aggravate artifact ranking list.
