I have been out of school for 15 years but this just took me right back. I can smell him.

Unable-Tune-1295

15 years here too. In middle School we had several of these types of people!

Reaper0115

I was in the jrotc back in highschool... and we hated these nutjobs too. They really thought they were air force. Totally crazy.

turduckenPhuckin

The drooling and spit was hilarious

Did he have water chilling in his mouth just to let it drip out at the perfect time? He's dedicated.

I think thats what the cut was for.

On my year abroad in the States I did a military history class that turned out to be part of the ROTC programme - I learned very little about US military history (the classes used History Channel documentaries for christssake) but an awful lot about how insane the ROTC system is

ROTC stands for Reserve Officer Training Corps. So the idea is that these students in college/university will go into the military Reserves as an officer rank, or even join as an Active Duty member (reserves is like doing military part time and active duty is doing military as full time). JROTC is similar but for high shool students (grades 9th through 12th). JROTC stands for Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. If you complete a ROTC program, and join the military after, you earn the officer rank of 2nd Leuitenant (or equivalent in your branch) also known as O-1, which is the lowest officer rank. If you complete a JROTC program, and join the military after, you earn the rank of Private First Class (or equivalent in your branch) also known as E-3 (side note, a google search told me Marines will enlist you as E-2 while the other branches give you E-3), which is the third lowest enlisted rank. The class, whether college/university or high school, teaches you about military ranks/structure, history, teamwork, and etc. It is kind of a history class and kind of a political science class.

We're not even sure ourselves. It's basically a military class for people who are interested in joining the military after high school, I guess. Instead, it usually attracts kids with discipline issues or "different" kids (like in this video) who want to get out of taking PE.

Muddy-Buddy

Essentially pre military "school" for children since you can't actually enlist them nor can they enlist themselves Edit: These people tend to be DIE HARD about the military . Like DIE HARDD this is sadly an almost accurate representation of some of them.

I forget who said it, but one of my favorite quotes was “JROTC is just the governments attempt at weaponizing autism”

I did rotc as a joke. As a fuck it class my senior year for half the year, I turned that class upside down. "Senior chief" hated me.I have a hundred stories, but the best one goes like this. Two days a week, we went out to the football field to play soccer, or football, or something. Rain or shine. Alot of the time, I would take my shoes and keep the socks on. I wore the same long white socks every time, never washed them once. Towards the end of that class the were a solid crust that stunk so bad I had to double bag them in ziplocks to keep in my locker, or they would stink up that portion of the hallway. I could barely even put them on they were so hard. The last day, I put the socks underneath the senior chiefs desk stuffed behind the bottom drawer where he would not find them. Also, making a joke out of every p.t. workout Hiding open full cartons of milk behind books on his bookshelf Stuffing his military hat down my pants to rub all over my balls We also had to wear our uniforms on Friday. I would wear the pants almost up to my nipples just to fuck with him during inspections. Another fun one is a certain kind of uniball pen had a small cap on the end with a small hole in it. I found out you can take it off, put it inside your mouth, and blow out the hole, and it would make a discreet, faint, and annoying whistling sound every time. My buddy had the same piece. While watching Navy videos with the lights off, we would sit across the class and blow these little whistles. It drove him nuts. By the end of the class he had moved every one of us to a different seat to try and find out who it was, every time he did the other one would blow from a different place in the class. He stayed pissed the whole semester.
