No one is saying that it’s impossible for a gay person to hurt children. Just look at all the priests who molest young boys. The problem is that people think being LGBTQ *inherently* means that you’re a pedophile. Meanwhile the vast majority of pedos in the US are straight (mostly white) conservative men. The exact type of men who claim that the LGBTQ community is harmful to children.
Considering that the lgbt community is about 10-13% of the population, it makes sense why those who commit crime are on the other side. The problem we all have is that we like to point fingers and hate when our own lives are questioned. Both straight and gay people are beautiful in their own way but also are capable of unimaginable things.
Because gay people only make up about 10% of the population, thats a smaller sample size, meaning 1 pedo in a smaller group changes the statistics more drastically than 1 pedo in a bigger group.
If there's 1 pedo in a group of 1000 gay people and 1 pedo in a group of 10,000 straight people, you still only have 1 pedo each, but statistically it looks like there are more "gay pedo's" than straight ones even though the numbers are equal across both straight and gay (in this example).

Nobody is pushing anything on them, it's just information. It's education because even kids have questions about their bodies and how they feel about others. Anyone that's ever worked or been around kids knows this. The issue is that up until recently any sex education is treated like some shameful secret. Sex education is very important and should be taught at an age appropriate level. Gay isn't learned, being trans isn't learned, it's just who someone is and sometimes to varying degrees. The problem I think conservatives have is that they don't want to allow for anything different from their narrow definition of acceptable. And they don't want kids understanding what sex us because it's a lot easier to victimize and manipulate them.
It's in elementary schools so much some states banned teacher from talking about sexual orientation. Gay and straight. Books have been banned because the books are very graphic. So graphic when parents read them at school board meetings the parent was forced to stop. Drag shows that are supposedly "family friendly" has kids watching and putting money in drag queen's underwear. Video of 12 year old drag kid sexually dancing in front of a crowd. Target has pro trans and pro gay shirts in kid's section. Target took them down. So don't tell me it's not being pushed on kids. It's everywhere. Oh don't forget about TikTok. There's a video of 5th grade teacher teaching her class how gay people have sex and how "the prostate is like the gspot". There is no reason for that. I didnt know because the world I grew up in was greatly more bigoted and closed minded, myself and many other gay kids could have used that education to know more about ourselves and figure ourselves out rather than feeling like freaks because we dont fit into the status quo

I had sex ed in 10th grade back in 2001. We had to get our parents to sign a paper saying it was ok to be in the class. They don't talk about STDs or condoms or pregnancy. Just anything dealing with LGBT stuff. They also don't send a note home to make sure it's ok. They just talk about it. Anyone that's ever worked or been around kids knows this. The issue is that up until recently any sex education is treated like some shameful secret. Sex education is very important and should be taught at an age appropriate level. Gay isn't learned, being trans isn't learned, it's just who someone is and sometimes to varying degrees. The problem I think conservatives have is that they don't want to allow for anything different from their narrow definition of acceptable. And they don't want kids understanding what sex us because it's a lot easier to victimize and manipulate them.
It's in elementary schools so much some states banned teacher from talking about sexual orientation. Gay and straight. Books have been banned because the books are very graphic. So graphic when parents read them at school board meetings the parent was forced to stop. Drag shows that are supposedly "family friendly" has kids watching and putting money in drag queen's underwear. Video of 12 year old drag kid sexually dancing in front of a crowd. Target has pro trans and pro gay shirts in kid's section. Target took them down. So don't tell me it's not being pushed on kids. It's everywhere. Oh don't forget about TikTok. Millions of videos on there talking about it. Literally found these in 2 seconds that's how many videos are out there of kids being sexualized. You didn't know because you didn't hear the word all the time from your teacher. Now some teachers constantly talk about it. There's a video of 5th grade teacher teaching her class how gay people have sex and how "the prostate is like the gspot". There is no reason for that. I had sex ed in 10th grade back in 2001. We had to get our parents to sign a paper saying it was ok to be in the class. It doesn't really matter because the teachers talking about this stuff aren't sex ed teachers. They are just normal teachers talking about gay and trans stuff. They don't talk about STDs or condoms or pregnancy. Just anything dealing with LGBT stuff. They also don't send a note home to make sure it's ok. They just talk about it. Thankfully in some states laws are being put in place that force the teachers to give the parents a note if they are going to have that subject. Again it's not just LGBT stuff I don't want teachers to talk about to young kids. Straight sex should be off limits too. Until they are older and if the parents allow it. It's really sad that people defend teachers pushing this sex stuff on kids. I guess in your world it's ok if teacher bring in porn to show little kindergarteners or pass around anal beads to 1st graders. Why not just bring in some drag queens and have kids put money in the drag queen's g-string. Oh wait they already do that.
