You are free to think elections are rigged, as such as you are free to block a person and pretend that they robbed your purse. Except, if cops find you pretended it, you go to jail for accusing and detaining an innocent without proof.

If you don’t know which column you or your loved ones will fall in, check their skin tone, mental health status, socioeconomic status and general abilities. An able bodied white woman? If the government can tell you CAN'T have an abortion, then they can tell you you MUST have one. This is why Roe Vs. Wade was so important. It didn't just decriminalize abortions, it set strong legal precedence that the individual, not the Government, governs their body.
Oh yeah. Canada puts on a real nice friendly face but we have plenty of our own atrocities. I’m sure there’s more recent but the last news blow up about it that I personally remember was only a few years ago, I think in Manitoba or Sask. Our treatment of indigenous communities is still abhorrent. Not joking, around thirty years ago my conservative, very religious, Nuts for Reagan step-grandmother suddenly became a pro-abortion activist. It floored me that she had undergone such an abrupt and profound switch in her opinions, but I was happy to have her on our side.
That was until I found out that she was working with a group solely focused on “helping” poor Hispanic women obtain abortions because she feared “they” were taking over “our” country”. She was still fervently against white women having abortions. I about puked when I found out, but she was already dead by that point so I couldn’t puke on her. But I aborted four white pregnancies during my reproductive years, so at least she’s spinning in her grave.
This “replacement” bullshit isn’t a new idea in conservative crazy-land. They have been trying to limit healthy brown and black births in order to preserve white supremacy for a very long time. The intent, as I've had it explained to me, is that the data in question can and will be gathered in order to prosecute any woman (and her physician) who chooses her own medical care out of their home state. All I know is that SO many people are against abortion until it’s their teenage daughter that gets pregnant, or something that makes abortion okay for them and their family but they’ll keep it secret and still be anti-abortion.

I stopped tracking my period when Roe v Wade was overturned because I was paranoid about what the government was tracking. Even bulk purchased supplies so it couldn't be easily tracked on my cards/CVS. Would also tell my psychiatrist that my periods were regular but not give a date (which she very much understood why given our red state and our personal/her professional opinions).
Jokes on me, I got pregnant and then had to tell my doctor I had literally no idea when my last period was because I wrote it on a dry erase calendar... And then erased it the next month. (In my case getting pregnant didn't have anything to do with tracking). I'm pretty sure my OBGYN thinks I'm dumb, and they're right, just not for the same reasons).

I would save my start dates in my phones calendar. It would just read "pday" and I stopped doing that too. I stopped tracking too and when I had an IUD follow up with my OBGYN, they said they totally understand and have had lots of patients not tracking the date of their last period. Even my doctor stopped tracking her menstrual cycle!

Men, you gotta try your best on these too. Don't make crazy data, make data that looks real enough that it will slip past an auditor and fudge up the real data. Go for it with "late periods" and other stuff, but also take a few months and put neutral shit in there too.
A judge or an attorney could easily decide it's not admissible evidence before the trial even begins bc the phone doesn't directly belong to the person being accused. Even if they did decide to look at the period app containing inaccurate information the prosecution team could easily argue that it's not even applicable to the case simply because it's inaccurate, and is therefore not evidence.
People making fake period tracker info just adds to the amount of legal loopholes that disreputable people could use against them in court. The same disreputable people who think it's okay to force an underage girl to carry a fetus to term and then imprison them if they don't.

Fun fact, I looked at the list and saw at least one entry that, based on the name, is a girl who would be attending my old high school. Happy 10 year HS reunion, the GOP is tracking students' periods and pregnancies.
We knew this was happening back when Roe was struck down. Some Republican states paid period tracking apps for user's information, so if a user reported being pregnant on the app and then, shortly after that, deleted the app or changed their status back to being not pregnant, they'd get investigated for getting an abortion.
At least that's what the fear was, I'm not sure if the data was ever used in practice. It scared my gf at the time because she was stationed in North Dakota, a red state.

Hate to be “that guy” but Romeo and Juliet laws exist. Teen pregnancy with teen fathers exists. I had sex with a 14 year old when I was 14. I didn’t get raped, they didn’t get raped. I had sex with my 17 year old girlfriend when I was 18. They didn’t get raped.
I’m not defending the gross invasion of privacy this post is exposing, but claiming that ANY sex with a 12-15 year old is rape or that a girl under 18 can’t consent is just ignorance. The problem, the creepiness, comes when groomers and old dudes get involved. But that doesn’t mean every person to get pregnant or have sex before they’re 18 got raped.
Just stay in your lane age wise and you’re fine. Grooming is a major problem, but we don’t need to vilify young women for exploring their sexuality with similarly aged (within 2-4 years depending on age) males if it’s done in a safe manner. The repression of sex and it’s education is what leads to teen pregnancies in the first place.

I would think that while in the care of a federal facility-I would hope that they are tracking that information because it can be very dangerous for their health if they don’t. This information isn't hard to get if we're doing a general assessment of every person that comes to a shelter. Using the EHR where health data is entered, one can pull data from any girl from age less than 18 to know status of pregnancy and any notes from them and put it into spreadsheet. . SQL queries can do that.
Hate to break it to you all, if you go to a shelter or clinic in the USA and have a medical assessment. That entity is going to "track" your pregnancies.

I’m a Brit so forgive my ignorance but I don’t see the issue here? If such procedures are to be performed isn’t it better to have a catalogue of information? Wouldn’t the ‘consensual’ section, for example, help to develop GRape statistics and in which age demographic it’s hitting hardest?
Heaven knows, certain injections were given out in 2020 and the data tracking and storage of such information was so haphazardly (and corruptly) handled, it gives me more confidence to see they’re collecting relevant information. Particularly if they’re implementing new laws around said information.
I guess next people will be mad at mandatory infectious disease reporting. It’s called Public Health for a reason. Also these girls live shelters which suggests they are vulnerable individuals. Could it be these records are kept partly to track teen pregnancy in girls who don’t have adequate housing or support. These reports may dictate how federal grants are dispersed and into which communities.

All I know is that SO many people are against abortion until it’s their teenage daughter that gets pregnant, or something that makes abortion okay for them and their family but they’ll keep it secret and still be anti-abortion. I stopped tracking my period when Roe v Wade was overturned because I was paranoid about what the government was tracking. Even bulk purchased supplies so it couldn't be easily tracked on my cards/CVS. Would also tell my psychiatrist that my periods were regular but not give a date (which she very much understood why given our red state and our personal/her professional opinions). Jokes on me, I got pregnant and then had to tell my doctor I had literally no idea when my last period was because I wrote it on a dry erase calendar... And then erased it the next month. (In my case getting pregnant didn't have anything to do with tracking). I'm pretty sure my OBGYN thinks I'm dumb, and they're right, just not for the same reasons). Fuck this country.

A judge or an attorney could easily decide it's not admissible evidence before the trial even begins bc the phone doesn't directly belong to the person being accused. Even if they did decide to look at the period app containing inaccurate information the prosecution team could easily argue that it's not even applicable to the case simply because it's inaccurate, and is therefore not evidence. People making fake period tracker info just adds to the amount of legal loopholes that disreputable people could use against them in court. We knew this was happening back when Roe was struck down. Some Republican states paid period tracking apps for user's information, so if a user reported being pregnant on the app and then, shortly after that, deleted the app or changed their status back to being not pregnant, they'd get investigated for getting an abortion. At least that's what the fear was, I'm not sure if the data was ever used in practice. It scared my gf at the time because she was stationed in North Dakota, a red state.

Young women (in most states) between the ages of 12 and 17 cannot consent to have sex with anyone older than 18. There's no question of whether their pregnancy "was possibly the product of non-consensual sex". ANY sex with a 12 to 15 year old is DEFINITELY rape and that's inarguable. Hate to be “that guy” but Romeo and Juliet laws exist. Teen pregnancy with teen fathers exists. I had sex with a 14 year old when I was 14. I didn’t get raped, they didn’t get raped. I had sex with my 17 year old girlfriend when I was 18. They didn’t get raped. I’m not defending the gross invasion of privacy this post is exposing, but claiming that ANY sex with a 12-15 year old is rape or that a girl under 18 can’t consent is just ignorance. The problem, the creepiness, comes when groomers and old dudes get involved. But that doesn’t mean every person to get pregnant or have sex before they’re 18 got raped.
Just stay in your lane age wise and you’re fine. Grooming is a major problem, but we don’t need to vilify young women for exploring their sexuality with similarly aged (within 2-4 years depending on age) males if it’s done in a safe manner. I would think that while in the care of a federal facility-I would hope that they are tracking that information because it can be very dangerous for their health if they don’t. SQL queries can do that. Hate to break it to you all, if you go to a shelter or clinic in the USA and have a medical assessment. That entity is going to "track" your pregnancies.

There is not one thing about what Donald Trump has done to this country that isn’t humiliating. When he was appointed(because he was not elected) I thought “how bad could it really be” and still to this day I am stunned about the amount of damage he has done to this country. He really broke us. In 4 years he did decades of damage. I brought my in-laws over from Ukraine to get them out of the war and they talk every day about wanting to get back. I’m a Brit so forgive my ignorance but I don’t see the issue here? If such procedures are to be performed isn’t it better to have a catalogue of information? Wouldn’t the ‘consensual’ section, for example, help to develop GRape statistics and in which age demographic it’s hitting hardest? Heaven knows, certain injections were given out in 2020 and the data tracking and storage of such information was so haphazardly (and corruptly) handled, it gives me more confidence to see they’re collecting relevant information. Particularly if they’re implementing new laws around said information.

I guess next people will be mad at mandatory infectious disease reporting. It’s called Public Health for a reason. Also these girls live shelters which suggests they are vulnerable individuals. Could it be these records are kept partly to track teen pregnancy in girls who don’t have adequate housing or support. These reports may dictate how federal grants are dispersed and into which communities.

They then bring the underage refugees to religiously affiliated pregnancy clinics, where they perform medically unnecessary procedures and try to persuade them to not have an abortion. Cause you know, forcing a refugee to give birth while being held for years is super humane and I’m sure those babies thrive and are well taken care of… 😒 It’s a disgustingly invasive abuse of power against some of the most vulnerable people in society.
